Gaara actually saved the shinobi world. All Throughout the beginning of Gaara’s introduction we’re shown what being a jinchuriki can truly mean even though we’re not introduced to the term yet Naruto makes us more than aware that him and Gaara are the same both having evil ancient demons sealed inside of them and having a target on their back for it being socially in Naruto’s case or literally in Gaara’s with his dad constantly sending people to try to unalive him. Gaara was effectively our first evil Naruto showing that with slight differences in life Naruto could have turned out wildly differently. This trope would be repeated throughout the series with other Characters and peaking out with Obito being the ultimate evil Naruto. It’s no secret that Naruto is able to touch the hearts of those who can be saved and want to be, which is why after his fight with Gaara. Gaara turns into a far more peaceful person than the raging ball of narcissism and sociopathy he was when he was first introduced. Due to this change in character Gaara is commonly recognized as one of Naruto’s better written side characters and Naruto’s touch on Gaara gave him the necessary change needed to save the world. Speaking of, I think the reason Naruto’s talk no jutsu works is because of how honest he is. Shinobi are supposed to be those who hide emotions and use their words like a weapon, but Naruto is the opposite of a traditional ninja, as he bears everything in the open.

Yeah, Naruto sucks at being a ninja and that's a good thing. He doesn't understand that he's supposed to lie and hide and ignore his feelings and that lets him build bridges to places way beyond his social status. I think it's funny that one of the first Shinobi rules we hear from Sakura is "Shinobi don't cry" and Naruto cries in the climax of pretty much every single arc. He genuinely just doesn't care lol.

Yep it's literally the whole point of the Land of Waves arc. Naruto learns what it is to be a standard Shinobi through Zabuzas, Haku and even Kakashi and rejects it immediately. He establishes his Way of Ninja right at the end of the arc and that philosophy carries him through the whole journey of course tested multiple times by villains like Pain, Obito and Madara

Reason why naruto talk's work is because his action speak first he beat the shit out of his opponent that they're wonder why is he that strong, and the reason why is his bonds with iruka & jairaya & team 7 which is why haku & zabuza played a mojor role to naruto's development without them naruto ain't going to take bonds seriously neither he would have care that much abt the team 7 !! Also naruto only talk to the opponent who are victims of the shinobi system and kinda relate to them like garra both are jinchuriki, nagato both are student of jairaya, obito both wanted to become a hokage when they were kids

Sasuke wasn't a villain in my eyes, literally every person he has skilled were Akatsuki members that killed many innocent people like Deidara, and Itachi or characters with full warcrimes on their bio like Orochimaru and Danzo.

@@zjaeriqsanders1731 1. Akatsuki forced him to capture Bee. And, even then, he was no where NEAR Bee level, so Obito pretty much sentenced him to death by sending Sasuke with his underpowered team against one of the strongest jinchuriki that has ever lived, if not for the fact that Killer Bee was feeling merciful at the end and ran away. 2. If he truly wanted to kill team 7, he would've done so in a single strike besides Naruto, since he was so much stronger than all of them combined. He would've left after using an underpowered Kirin either way if Orochimaru didn't stop him. I don't believe for a moment Sasuke tried his hardest to kill them, he didn't even activate his curse mark. He needed to fight back of course since THEY were the ones that wanted to capture him in the first place. 3. You require context about why Sasuke formed Taka. Obito completely destroyed his perception on life after Itachi died by telling him the truth. It's no different than Obito controlling Nagato or Madara controlling Obito. 4. Sasuke literally has explained multiple times he only joined Akatsuki to USE Akatsuki. He never was an ally of Obito, despite Obito helping him multiple times. 5. When he tried to kill Kakashi, his mind was completely ruined. He was literally losing his sanity Joker style after knowing all of the fucked up shit Danzo has done without consecuences. 6. He literally KILLED Orochimaru. If it wasn't for Sasuke absorbing Orochimaru, Itachi would've never sealed him, and Orochimaru would've either stole Sasuke's body and become an above kage level threat OR he would've found the Uzumaki masks and brought back his arms and the souls of the first 4 hokage, which would've been VERY bad for the leaf. Sasuke despised Orochimaru as a person, he only allied with Orochi due to his circumstance. The only person that would've helped him become stronger to defeat Itachi was Orochimaru, so he had no other options.

Also can we appreciate that gaara used talk no jutsu, the trademark ninjutsu of naruto, the person who set him on the path to greatness. This scene is not only gaara’s moment but also proof that naruto’s influence has now completely taken hold of gaara, and he is now protecting the world he once wanted to destroy, a complete 180 for the better from where he began. Id go as far as to say this is the climax of gaara’s story

Great video Six. I remember the alliance fighting before the war began but had forgotten it was Gaara who brought them together. That scene as well as the Kage Summit are great moments for Gaara and it's nice to have it broken down to understand how important these moments were for the series.

On the Sand and Orochimaru's point, there is also the fact that Orochimaru was no longer part of the Akastuki. He was an ex-member, sure, but he wasn't in the akatasuki anymore, when the attack against Konoha took place. (even is disclosed by Sasori, who denies having anything to do with the death's of Gaara's father, since Orochimaru wasn't there, nor was he his duo anymore.)

These moments of defeating evil with pure honest argument and good hearted diplomacy is one of my favorite aspects of Naruto. Many people will diss Talk no Jutsu for ending a cool fight flatly, but if Naruto ended every villain by using agression and hatred, the amount of evil in the world would not go down. If Gaara commanded the Alliance with authority and distrust, the amount of despotism and distrust in the world would not go down.

I'm so glad Gaara was never thrown to the wayside after his big "Kohona crush" arc, just like how charracters like Lee and Neji were, mainly during Part 2. Gaara actually gets to continue to grow immensely as a character in the later parts of the story, and genuinely gets to add to the story until the end. He's easliy been one of my favorite Naruto characters ever since his mysterious and creepy introduction, and I'm glad his character got done justice

Not to mention that Kurama gave Gaara the information needed to revive Naruto after having been extracted by Madara. If not for Gaara, Naruto wouldn't have made it to Sakura in time, Obito wouldn't have been able to give him the Yin half of Kurama's chakra, as well as Gyuki and Shukaku's. You could consider that 'saving the world' in its own right. Kurama basically entrusted everything to Gaara in that moment.

Excluding the four main characters, Gaara is the one who has more development, fights and cool moments in the series. Kishimoto reallly took time to make him memorable and great. I mean, he is great at everything: his design is unique and great, his voice (both versions) is amazing, his abilities are very cool and powerful, his fights are insane and he managed to stay relevant from the Chunnin Exams until the end of the War (helping against even Jinchuriki Madara) and even in Boruto. He is awesome!
