Honestly l feel like these novel should be done in animated movie format that are canon to tje anime timeline(like the last naruto the movie) instead of doing naruto centric movie that are non cannon, Like they could make these movie focus on character from the other villages as a way to futher expand the naruto verse

Yet again I am reminded of why I hate the fact they didn't do ANY of the Naruto Hiden novels justice back when the Shippuden anime was still going. Thanks Sam for giving me the closest thing I'm going to get to an animated retelling of Gaara Hiden, you're a legend.

Ben Welsh they just had to fill in space, it’s sad to say. I wish they’d done Sakura’s story instead of Sasuke’s...but they really should’ve and could’ve done them all. Ey that’s why I’m here

Konoha Hiden: A Perfect Day for a Wedding was a perfect adaptation that made me weepy. They did that one perfectly.

It was a fun little send off I'll give it that but don't think I've forgotten how Chapter 700 didn't get animated. That still bothers me even now, they had time to rush Sasuke and Shikamaru's stories but didn't meet the finish line of the Manga...no that's not on! On a side note Boruto is getting interesting and I love Urashiki Ootsutski. If only he'd taken Kaguya's place then we could've been introduced to the Ootsutski with some real personality and flavour.

Why have I never considered disbanded Akatsuki members before? I know Kakuzu killed a fair few of his, but it's clearly a changing roster. What a cool idea for new villains.

DAVIS yeah I also thought of Guren (the crystal release girl from the filler arc in early Shippuden) as a cool potential Akatsuki member that could have been, mostly because of more female characters in an organization dominated by males

The book didn't have to be set so soon after The Last. The point was more about how the obvious question concerning timeskip Gaara back in 2014-18 was be how he met Shinki.
