I love this medication. I got put on it for nerve damage, but it helps my ADHD, anxiety, depression and PMS on a super low dose of just 200 mg

Problem for me is that it only helps me sleep for a few nights, if I keep taking it every night it stops working I also feel high most of the day, even 10 hours after I took it. I also have problems with sexual activity, it takes me a good hour to have an orgasm, and it doesn’t feel that good, very frustrating

⁠@@deboraslay9494you’ll probably need more than 300mg. It takes about 2 hours to notice you’ve taken it. You can build a tolerance to it very quickly. It makes me feel loopy…sometimes that’s good, sometimes not so good. I’ve been taking it every day for 20 year’s probably(damn that’s insane!) it used to not be scheduled and I said it’ll be scheduled and now it is. It’s very easy to become dependent upon it. If I go over 12 hrs I know I haven’t taken it, there is withdrawal with it. I wouldn’t recommend it but I am aware some people may not have the same experience as I have. If it helped…great! 😊

There's a psych named doctor Josef, on youtube. The taper doctor! He's amazing and has withdrawn from benzo himself.. also used to work for fda. He has great information on addictive drugs and withdrawal

Definitely helped my pinched nerves from 2 bulging disc's in my neck and 2 herniated disc's in my lower back (talk about a rock and hard place. Anything I did that helped my back, made my neck worse and visa versa). But the one side effect, neither my primary Dr, nor my spine Dr ever imagined, was it absolutely made my mood exponentially better. It helped my mood more than any antidepressant ever has. I cannot explain the difference. This drug literally has saved my life. 20 years of depression, all gone. Still have the disc issues but damn I've never felt better mentally

It has given me part of my life back . I have hyper mobility , a bulging disk , deformation in the hip , widespread nerve pain … I take 1000mg per day and can actually function with reduced pain . It was a hard medication to adjust to ( given my small size ) and how my body processes medications that are ingested but once the side effect wore off , all I can say is that it’s. I’ve to live life with less pain .

Benzo and Gabba are a highly addictive.. This needs to be concidered before consuming.. I find benzo a reckless medication. Due to the amount of movement disorder it gives! 😢

I have a safe non RX alternative for Gabapentin thats working on 3 of my friends whom have been on Gabapentin for over 10 years with zero side effects. Im pretty happy with the results.

I took Gabapentin for my alcohol withdrawals and it worked well for me. It also seems to help with my anxiety and depression. I hear it’s a mixed bag of good and bad affects on people. I recently just weened off of it so not sure what to expect now… only time can tell.

No, it's definitely WAAAAY more effective for social anxiety. And I know I've been on basically all ssri/snri and they were literally like sugar pills with no effect on my anxiety except the wd when stopping them. Trash meds. Gabapentin worked immediately and actually helped
