So, here's the thing; Alanis Morissette is a Canadian rock icon. She's got this amazing grungy voice and everything that comes from her is raw. Alanis didn't fake drama or start anything or send hordes of fans to attack a smaller creator over a poetry book to promote a song, she just let her increadible talent speak for itself. I am furious that someone decided it was a cute look to cover a song that's about dealing with a break up and anger (this was back in the mid-90's, where mental health and how women were allowed to express themselves was highly scrutenized) and build it up with all the crap she pulled.

Tana fans getting scammed over and over again be like: “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. This is on me.”

ryland, sweetie, it’s not “aggression”, it’s called enthusiasm. you really should be grateful you even have platforms still, in spite of whatever dramas have surrounded, and continue to circle, you and your fiancée.

About Tana's situation: As a brand owner, I wouldn't randomly gift someone my products if they send me a casual message on Instagram. There should be a meeting or a contract to ensure that the influencer is required to promote the brand and tell how they got the outfit. A background check on the person might also be a good idea because even though they have millions of followers: Tana Mongeau, Jake Paul, Austin McBroom and Nikita Dragun are problematic people that I wouldn't want my brand to be associated with.

I don’t think her breakdown was even public either. Of course with people who make music in the grunge/alt/post-punk style it is not uncommon to have a mental breakdown/illness or addiction. What is uncommon is going online to harass every human being into hate watching your music videos. It’s grotesque.
