Your reaction is much like my 102 year old Sicilian Grand Mother. She listened Intently, especially to the Italian. She declared Marcelito to be an Angel sent by God. And said Marcelito is Italian by Extensa.

Journey's singer is also from the Philippines. Arnel. Back in 78' I was lucky to have a port of call there & saw a band play the entire Boston album that had just come out. Every song in the order on the record. They sounded exactly like Boston. All the bands there not only covered songs but, imitated the bands they did. Celine's voice is the shocker here.

Actually, singing in dual voices is an old gimmick in the Philippines. Some decades back, there was a segment in a noontime show called "Doble Kara", (means two face) that features a duet from a single singer. The contestant had to dress himself or herself half as a man, and the other half as a woman. Marcelito refined the voice quality to another level.
