She has her skills back. She just needs to build endurance and CONFIDENCE. I could 100% see her as an AA medalist at the 2025 worlds. I truly hope she continues.

I wish she would have continued the competition. Hopefully, she will be back stronger at Worlds 🌎 in 2025. She still has the skill and strength. My only recommendation would be that she increase difficulty on all the events comparable to the G.O.A.T! She has the talent, strength, and experience to push herself even higher. Moreover, she is under 35, fit, healthy, and proven🏅🏅🏅. She can do it if she wants to soar even higher!

I love Gabby's gymnastics. I think that opening bar routine just overwhelmed her ... two nights previous she'd had just 2 hours sleep. As a (recovered !) insomniac, I remember how those sleepless nights would just WIPE ME OUT ! And she's had some tough breaks, getting Covid just a few weeks earlier and having to withdraw from THAT competition. I wish her ALL the best, and hopes she comes out fully rested and emotionally recovered for the next meet. You go, Gabby ! You're an Olympic gold medalist 😂❤😂❤😂

Classics was also really the first time she has come to the huge compitition since the entire Me Too truth came out, we really need to understand how much an impact on mental health that the survivors have/are facing. I am SO extraordinarily confident in Gabby no matter how far she gets for facing it ❤

She needed 51.000 to qualify for US championships, and with the falls it was impossible to get there. I think that's why she gave up, because her goal was to qualify for US Championships so she could go to Olympic Trials.

of course we as fans want her to have her best shot at the olympics, but so does she! i'm sure she made the decision to withdraw with her goals in mind, and i'm sure it wasn't an easy decision.

Do gymnasts usually get to do full routines during the touch warmup?? I thought they only usually get like 30 secs

This was most likely the warm up before the competition even starts. The 30 second one-touch is during the competition and right before they compete on the event.

Scratched and then cried ankle injury isn’t rlly what I wanted but I was pretty worried when I saw all the PR about a comeback. Maybe if she had started training years earlier. Sucks to watch, I was hoping she had figured her head out and just needed to get the body in like but I’m not convinced of that. Pls don’t at me if u Stan her this is just my opinion

You sound silly she could score well on beam and vault had she continued. Her time isn’t over until she says it is .. she has ALL of her skills back and if she shows up to compete at nationals she can make a better case for herself there and get an invite to trials. This isn’t over for Gabby so acting like it’s some foregone conclusion for her is delusional

You don’t have to trust her .. Gabby has history of hitting during the biggest moments in her career which is how she made two Olympic teams now let Gabby start standing on business do you really think USAG wouldn’t take her over the likes of dicello/chiles or blakely ? 😂

Why the radio silence that's the bit I don't get. So many people are invested in her journey, and sonve she oulled out, there's been nothing. That isn't s good look. If it was too hard, If she wasn't prepared, or having a bad day, or changed her mind - why not say so? Geez, if Simone can "face the music" pulling out in Tokyo, no reason why Gabby can't do the same.

It’s probably best she’s quiet and shows up better in her next meet .. Gabby is extremely introverted so her silence doesn’t surprise me especially after a performance she’s obviously not happy with.

Gabby's execution looks like she just does not care. Something is missing. She has no enthusiasm. I certainly hope she's the one who actually wants to be doing this. If she does, I want her to reach in and get her confidence and excitement out of cold storage.

it's called a standing full, and plenty of gymnasts can do it. And nobody in gymnastics calls them a "flip" anyways lmao I can tell you know nothing about gymnastics, so how bout you stop talking about topics you know nothing about. I told all of you naysayers that Gabby wasn’t ready. You all doubted me even though I showed you all how her attitude seems to always affect her performance. I, like you was so proud and loved GW until she put on a terrible attitude after not being selected as team captain in 2016! I was there as well as the rest of us in USAG! She couldn’t even put her hand across her heart during team awards. Instead, she looked to the entire world as if she would rather be anywhere but here in Rio with a gold medal around her neck!!!😢😮. That’s the week I stopped supporting her!😡😤😠 She got a very big head after London 2012 and couldn’t stand to have Aly get team captain in Rio 2016, bc she thought she deserved it bc she won All Around and that the world was hers. I knew the team and the ABSOLUTE MOST OBVIOUS choice for team captain was Aly Raisman, without question ❤. However, so many of you here on KZfaq have constantly said that she WILL ABSOLUTELY MAKE THE COMEBACK, she’s better than Simone and Suni and I told you that NO, in fact, it’s not her determination nor her drive that can put her in any position to make the 2024 team bc she has had and always struggles to have a GOOD ATTITUDE! So she fell 3 times on bars at Classics? I ask you naysayers, did any of her fall’s result in ANY KIND OF INJURY??????? Absolutely not!!! She got EMBARRASSED!! Then sulked, as she is known to do then attempted to warm up beam where again, she fell apart THEN and only THEN, did she withdraw completely from the competition and you ask yourself why???? She didn’t get injured, she didn’t have the twisties she was just EMBARRASSED and didn’t want to further embarrass herself again. Told you so!

@@HazelAmarie Sorry, but everyone is entitled to their opinions and I appreciated this info. In this video, Gabby wasn't focused and she kept losing her balance and her dismount was terrible. I wish her all the best, but competing in the Olympics isn't for everyone. It seems it's time for Gabby to move on to other pursues in her life.
