And man, if Gabby and Jason really are together, I think they will continue to use therapy to better each other and their relationship. I’ve never been more excited to a bachelorette finale! what I noticed with Gabby was she didn't feel the need to run when she was with Jason. When she told Clayton about her mom I'm pretty sure she took a break after and when she told Eric about it she had to take a break. I feel like she knew that Jason had also been through some stuff and those are the kind of people you tend to gravitate towards.

But can we talk about the duck? That poor dog and his cancer duck? This man not only decided to leave his sick dog who loves and relies on him but ALSO TAKES HIS DUCK. the well worn duck who has clearly provided much comfort. Who does that??? Also it's about his tone even more than his words. What he said (paraphrasing) "our morals don't match and you're rough around the edges...", what I heard: "I need a quiet little wifey who won't talk back to me". When he said " I assume you want to talk about Rambo"....what I heard in his tone was "I assume you want to apologize to me for not staying to hear me talk about myself more".

Y'all's Rachel take was so accurate and one of the few I've seen with genuine empathy for her snd situation!!!! I'm a Rachel defender through and through. before the season even started so many people said she just wasn't as deserving as Gabby and i think she's just had an uphill battle from there. And on a broader scale women get absolutely demolished and ridiculed for showing emotions or insecurity.. we're supposed to be conflict avoidant and "above it" and I don't think either way is correct or incorrect but society as a whole expects the latter and shames the former. so upsetting to see some horrid takes with no empathy regarding the blatant producer manipulation. thanks ladies this is why i enjoy the podcast!

I think with Rachel she's just feeling very insecure and is a somewhat jealous person, which I don't think is a bad thing. It's how you act and react with those emotions and feelings that's important.
