Despite being having an athletic body (I train most days), being early 20s and dieting reasonably well, I cannot get or stay hard .. Its getting me very depressed as, because I am on my university's sports teams, girls often want to hook up. But I can't. This has already lost me a girlfriend and now its affecting my mental health. Please advise, I am NOT addicted to porn but masturbate once daily. Its often just before bed when I am tired and so I finish as quickly as possible and, sometimes, when half erect. I know this is an unhealthy habit but I'm not sure what is the best way to fix it. I can't talk to anyone about this for fear of embarrassment/shame. The Reboot Nation Honestly, thank you for replying. I watch it sometimes, other times I used the imagery of girls I've almost or half fucked (as pathetic as that sounds). I will go to the doctor, he said to abstain from drink, drugs but that advice is redundant because I don't do them anyway. My penis doesn't work fine when masturbating without porn but I can last longer and the erection is slightly fuller (not as full as it used to be). I'm not familiar with the porn induced ED test, could you explain or provide a source? Thank you so much

The account The PIED test is real simple (I'm making a video on it soon) but all you do is compare your erection with and without porn masturbating. If your erection is better with porn you likely have porn-induced ED. It rules out organic problems because simply turning on porn doesn't make organic problems disappear, and if you can't masturbate without porn it rules performance anxiety because no one is nervous about pleasing their own hand.

I've just got 2 more questions please: (1) How does it take to get better, more fuller erections etc after that abstain from masturbation and porn? Part of the problem is that I feel so disinterested in having sex, even with stunning girls. It's embarrassing as they'll ask if you don't find them attractive and even if your gay. Right now, it feels like this won't change.. (2) At the risk of sounding ridiculous, will your penis shrink if you abstain from masturbation or haven't had a full erection for a long time? This is so helpful to me. I didn't have anywhere near as bad habits as Gabe and didn't start as young, however I always was way too nervous around girls for no reason. I had some trouble with my girlfriend recently, not necessarily from lack of arousal but somewhat premature ejaculation. I was avoiding women and relationships for too long. I've tried nofap a few times but this time its a lifestyle change. I've achieved a lot while being a porn addict so i really wonder what I can achieve without being one. There is no way I will fail or go back.

I'm going through recovery again. I completely relate to that. Personally I think it's kind of like an alcoholic who have to gradually drink more and more to get the the desired effect. A porn addict seeks more and more extreme stuff as time goes by to get the same excitement or even get off. I read about guys who even ended up watching gay stuff even when they weren't gay. It's like when they got off the porn they started thinking only about girls.

Yes and no. Their fathers did allow porn to take hold in ways it should not have. On the other hand, their fathers had no idea what would be next. As damaging as the porn of their fathers was, I don't think they had any idea where porn would end up. If you said to young men's fathers that porn was dangerous, they'd be thinking what they grew up with...Playboy 30-40 years ago which WAS misogynist and damaging...but they'd laugh at the idea that this was extremely harmful to their SONS as well as their daughters. They don't understand the world their children live in. They can't even imagine things like rosebud porn or gagging. With the static image porn their fathers grew up with, there was still SOME need for imagination and the development of one's own ideas about sex. Okay, it's a naked woman sprawled out on a Harley Davidson, but how did she get there? Why is she there? What would you say to her? What would you two do together? There were all things that men and boys still had to come up with. Today's porn has taken away all imagination. There is an incredibly limited script now, but the endings are all the same...it's all complete degradation, debasement, and harm to woman and men are PLEASED to see it and do it. I think if most fathers had any idea what their sons were watching, they'd step up a bit.....or maybe they wouldn't and I'm giving men too much credit, lol!

Alfonso Bernabe Don't worry so much about "starting over" and crap when you see a pic or a video. Just keep taking small steps towards recovery, and avoid ALL artificial sexual stimulation. What do porn stars think about the NoFap movement? I understand that pornography is just like any another job, a means to make money. Any habit that becomes an addiction is destructive. I think that pornography needs to be recognized to have the same addiction potential like drugs such as alcohol, tobacco, marijuana and gambling. Pornography needs to be regulated in such a way that access is made more difficult. There has to be a way that whoever wants to watch it, this person has to pay for the viewing. In the end, the porn industry can earn their money and the viewer understands that they have bought a service.

They say I'm a really nice guy and a good friend and that I'll find someone someday, but none want to be that someone. If I can't find a woman, I know I'll end up destroying myself.
