@lnt305 As someone that grew up watching her I suppose I am probably biased, but as I did see the content in question real time, I can say that the apology that she made in response was not only during the height of the toxicity of 'cancel culture' but it was an incredibly mature and not unexpected, genuine apology to accusations that were taken out of context and blown way out of proportion. I cant really explain it properly but if you're interested I highly recommend the KZfaq video Why the end of Jenna Marbles is the end of Authenticity by Donna as it explains what I'm trying to far better than I can. Long story short she came from a time in KZfaq when it was treated almost like a video diary or journal, she was an OG and after nearly 15 years on the platform she was bound to have a video or 2 that would be deemed problematic by today's standards, and it was taken out of context for the time most of it was made.

@@hashtagmate the ex was in contact in a fan when he was young but according to them more in like an “older brother way” (not that it makes it okay to talk to a minor but at least it was not in a sexual way to my knowledge). while i do think that they were both toxic to an extent, watching back on old videos of them together it is clear that colleen was the main abuser
