It was probably the best league that ever existed.The thing I loved about him was he never seemed to score a boring goal, loved watching him play at fiorentina.I used to try and convince my school mates to watch football Italia and I kept raving about the likes of Batistuta and Zidane unbelievable .

The truth is great. I play soccer with my 10-year-old cousin and his friends. Everyone trains football and I trained and played football well, but I devoted myself to books and university because I had no connections and no family behind me. when I go back I score a goal and tell Batistuta, they look at me as if from someone else's head and ask who it is

Gabriel Batistuta certainly was a goal machine, and did that in italy. The Italians pride themselves on their defense abilities as much as their counter attacking abilities. Remember watching a lot italian football in the 90s, good stuff.

Messi is more skillful than all of them because he can dribble, has vision, can assist, and superior technical ability. You don't need to be pure strikers to turn around a match, all the greatest players ever like Pele, Maradona, and Messi were not only playmakers but also outstanding goal makers when needed. Real football fans know that Messi is above the league of all the fine players you mentioned. Doing consistently for over 15 years and winning so many awards is inhuman, and quite possibly will never be repeated. Doing that good at international level in a game prone to injuries, loss of form, tremendous pressure needs almost inhuman level of ability. For longevity reasons alone (apart from greatest technical ability), Messi stands at the top in the history of football. Take any yard stick, whether goal scoring, passing and so on, you should see Messi at the top and that he did for a hell lot of years.

Cause his time has passed, and although he was undoubtedly one of the greats and possibly the best 9 Argentina ever had, he played in a time plagued with many other superstar strikers. But don't be fooled, Batigol got his fair share of hype and spotlight during his days. It's a shame he didn't shine much with the national team except that one Copa America. Imagine had de coincided with Messi, or been around a bit earlier to coincide with a young Maradona?

Madonna che spettacolo che numeri colpi magie bombe pazzesche e gol mostruosi splendidi che mi hanno tutti stupito e gli ho vissuti e visti tutti quanti in quegli anni GANRIEL BATTISTUTA 💪⚽️👏👍 in serie A ha dato spettacolo gol pazzeschi spettacolari che ci ha stupito a tutti sia tifosi viola e giallorossi , ma io sono un tifosissimo interista e amo il calcio lo sport e questi super campioni mi hanno colpito come lui , nella Fiorentina ha fatto anni straordinari pazzeschi e i più belli , come anche nella Roma la stagione dello scudetto , e quel poco che è stato da noi era già a fine carriera però ha dato tanto entusiasmo giocando bene quel poco che ha giocato e segnando 2 gol
