idk how many russian players NBA fans follow 😂 jk. is he russian? i’m super curious how he’s going to play. What i loved, and seemingly everyone else also loved, about the olympics was the officiating. They let guys play through a good amount of contact, like the NBA did in the 90s lol - but he should be a pretty physical guard in that case. and probably SUPER motivated to stay in the nba especially a team like the suns and the roster. insanely good team to be on if you are young and cafe to actually get better with Monty and Chris and everyone really

Suns signed him on a two-way contract for the rest of the season and let's see if Monty Williams plays him. First Danish born NBA player.
@professorzoom78002 жыл бұрын
so it’s definitely a kinda odd signing. Nothing to do with the player, i’m sure he’s a beast, but Monty was hesitant to bring Aaron Holiday on at first out of fear their half court offense was too complex to learn in a month before it needs to be down perfectly for the post season. Then we literally had no healthy PGs left and they brought him on and he’s been amazing 😂 but same here, an international player, who will almost certainly have a larger learning curve than a guy in the nba currently, weeks before the post season? I trust Monty and james jones because they have been unbelievable so far. so they must be pretty confident in this guy to bring him in this late. Monty values continuity a lot

@@professorzoom7800 This could also be a player they had planned to pick up next season, but were able to bring in now because of the whole Russia thing. If it wasn't for the war in Ukraine, he would still be playing in Russia right now (he bought himself out of the contract). So they bring him in now to learn the the offense and everything, give him some run in the G-league and then have him ready for next season.

@@professorzoom7800 No it didn’t get shot down, i just don’t think people wanna be associated with Russia right now. That plus Russia’s whole economy is going down fast and They’re being isolated from the rest of the world because of all the sanctions.
