The Mexican gift basket is hilarious

My ex and I went to the show in Miami at the Improv he was talking about, and the reason why it was 3 am when they got to La Carreta was because we (meaning the audience) started buying him tequila shots. Dude put away at least ten, doing old material until he got too wasted and then he just started talking to us like we were old friends. He was on stage for at least 3 hours. It was awesome, one of the nicest down to earth guys I ever saw.

I get asked the same all the time and I answer, "We don't yell we just emphasis with our voice". It's a latino thing.

my family is also really loud. when we have Christmas family dinner and everyone is together, everyone yells over each other just to be the one to be heard first and then when I go out to eat with someone else, I don't really think about it, I talk "normally" and they are like "why are you yelling", I'm like "I'm not", but I get it now.

I'm part Mexican on my mother's side, but neither her, me, or my siblings speak spanish, only person who did was my maternal grandmother

WHAT A SHAME THAT YOU CAN NOT SPEAK SPANISH MY SON WAS BORN IN CANADA AND HE CAN SPEAK SPANISH READ IT, WRITE IT, SPEAK IT PERFECTLY, BESIDE ENGLISH AND FRENCH BUT SINCE HE WAS A LITTLE KID WE TAUGHT HIM SPANISH.
