I simply don't understand the so many dislikes on this song. the band is simply great playing covers and Miss Gabriela is singing this song that could rival Nazareth. This is a really, great cover being played. I remember when Nazareth songs was played on the radio and this is my favorite album of Nazareth.

Now we can't see how many dislikes, but I assume it is due to people who don't even know Nazareth's song is another of many versions (cover with many different arrangements) of the original song, by the original writers.

I can’t understand why there would be any dislikes either! She is amazing and has the perfect raspy voice for this song. I’ve been following her a long time since she won the talent show in her country singing this same song ❤❤❤❤

She a tremendous singer who has since covered a wide variety of songs over the years. She could use some better articulation in parts of this song here but this is still an excellent cover not at all warranting any dislikes of the song. Could the dislikers be jealous women perhaps??

Nazareth didn't need Autotune and heavy studio production to sound good. This girl might be able to sing but she's so processed in this song that she may as well be a piece of singing American cheese.

A great inerpretation by Gabriela and her band, definitely 🤩💪 But technically this isn't Nazareth's song, as they covered it from the Everly Brothers who originally composed and sang it already in 1960. I'd rather call it a Nazareth-style cover of the song.

Everley brothers tune, not Nazareths. However, Dan McCaffery made it his own much in the same way as This flight Tonight written by Joni Mitchell who used to introduce it on stage as a Nazareth song.. RIP Dan 8/11/22 from all of us in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

As heavily processed as this track is, ANYONE could sound good with the same digital treatment. This is what producers forget. They're so busy making it perfect that they forget the imperfections are what give it soul. You're not hearing this girl singing. You're hearing the producer's digital interpretation of what she ought to sound like. Autotune wasn't evil. The producers and music industry "visionaries" who made it mandatory are evil.

Pistol Pete - This sung was originally sung by the Rock band, Nazareth, as shown in the description of the title of this song, in the early '70s and was remade by Joan Jett in the '80s and this randition is sung by Gabriela here in the 2000s and it may have been sung by other artists as well but this is not the original version of the song.

Gratuluji. Náhodou jsem vás objevil a jsem veeeeelmi překvapen, jak krásně zpíváte. Úplně jsem se vrátil o 40 let nazpět, kdy jsme jako děti hltaly všechny zahraniční skupiny. To byla ještě doba, kdy v rádiu pouštěly celé písničky komplet od začátku do konce a až píseň skončila, tak teprve se rozjela další nebo pokračoval moderátor. Každopádně když byl magnetofon s rádiem, tak jsme "lovili" kde jakou zahraniční kapelu a ukládaly na kazetu . . . . Jó to byly časy. Ještě jednou - SMEKÁM :-)

mrlafayette1964 it was also recorded by Gram Parsons as a duet with EmmyLou Harris - check it out on her "Duets" album (or on KZfaq). The duet is possibly the best version of the song, not to take away from this and the Nazareth version - I love Nazareth's also!

Oh boy. I randomly came to this video and the first thing I saw was a beautifull girl who will try to sing "Love hurts" from a band with a very special lead voice when I push the play button ... I did not expect very much ... But I was completly wrong. What a fantastic Rock-Voice. A few seconds after pushing the play Button tears ran down my cheeks, the best compliment I can give to you, Gabriela, because this only happens if I hear or I see something with extraordinary quality. I hear ya bud. I saw Gabriela on the preview, and never played it, knowing it would be horseshit, because she was so pretty. Then it came up automatically after I listened to another song, and I nearly pissed myself. this is a great performance, it retains some of the vocal rawness and emotion that was in the Nazareth version, which stops the song becoming a dull power ballad...
