Its sad to see so much negativity. I'm proud of this young lady. With her background she could have been so many other things; a teenage mother, a high school dropout, working in fast food for the rest of her life but look at her. I'm a proud supporter.

Whose to say that it wasn't. She very well could have. How do you know that she couldn't have given into temptations of our society. Or that her mothers troubles would not have become hers. Anyway that's besides the point. Which was the purpose of my last post. She could have been anywhere but where she is today and all this negativity that embodies this post is ridiculous *that is all* Goodbye!

Maybe those people were told they couldn't do it and listened. This is why people should block out everything negitive or let the negitivity/ jealously of others push you to strive harder.

That's a really strong accusation to make of someone. If she was that kind of girl, do you think she would have pushed through and won Olympic gold in the All-Around? Probably not. Why be so judgmental?

you can clearly tell that is the opposite of this girl . As an Olympian how would she have the time to do all that? and you shoudnt stereotype American teenagers, people wont take too kindly to that.
