Social Service Extended during Covid-19 Pandemic

As Covid-19 pandemic is increasing each passing day throughout the World, as precautionary measure, India has imposed nationwide lockdown to encompass this pandemic. As advised by our spiritual and temporal leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama in this crucial time and to offer gratitude to India Union/State Govt of Karnataka by Tibetan people in exile for last 6 decades, and also to mark of solidarity with our Indian brothers and sisters, we have planned to make donation towards PM Cares Fund, towards CM Relief Funding the coming days. We have already undertaken free distribution of dry rations, food packets, groceries to the nearby six hundred families of Indian villagers amounting 6,24,000 INR (six lakh twenty four thousand rupess). This philanthropic and altruistic initiative is undertaken by Gaden Shartse Monastery with utmost prayers and dedications to achieve His Holiness the Dalai Lama's wishes and of all the dedicated loyal benefactors of long time supporters.
In all, we offer deepest prayers for the quick end to this Covid-19 Pandemic, receive the best treatment to the sick at the soonest, prayers to those passed away in this Pandemic and sincere gratitude to all those frontline warriors (doctors, nurses, cleanliness responsible, policemen, health workers etcs.) for fighting off this Pandemic all over the world.
