Hi Stephen, hope you are doing well. Im catching up with old card magicians, card tricks, and learning new things. Im just learning how to make gaffed cards, in my older yrs. I need another hobby. Lol. I wanted to ask you and let you know. Have you ever watched THE GAFFED ACADEMY? Pete, is awesome just like Tom. Pete teaches tons of card tricks. He teaches how to make tons of Gaffed cards, and cards with magnets. He makes the card box a gimmick box too, by adding magnets in it, and other things. Tell him that i sent you, if you havent heard of him. And you decide to check him out. He usually uploads videos every early morning at 1 : 00 , A.M. 🇺🇸 🌎 USA TIME. One nite, he shows the card trick, and the next nite, he teaches it. He is very good. He will reply to you if you have any questions or need help. I hope this helps sir. I like to meet new people, and help as many people who i can. Let me know if you are interested. And if you have any questions. Thanks Stephen. God Bless you Glen polen

My friend, I'm not a magician but *LOVE* viewing magic videos/TV shows, etc, and I've gotta tell ya', this video and your other videos are *EXTREMELY* thorough, *WELL DONE* and offer some of *THE* best entertainment & tutorials available! *EDIT* I know you use the specific glue, but you didn't mention if a *DIFFERENT* glue would actually be a "fail", or what problems there would be with using a simple Elmer's Glue, etc.

Dude! I am really enjoying your videos. Thank you. I read a book from the thirties or forties. And I'm sure its method to make gaff cards involved soak the card in water first before separating the layers. This looks a lot easier. Thank you for being so amazing at explaining every you teach.

Brilliant video Tom, I have been trying to make my own cards but had a few problems with tearing, now I know how to do it right. I also think that the trick at the end is awesome, I often wondered why anyone would cut the cards diagonally, I am sorted out on this one too. Thank You Very Much.

I like your teaching. The first time that i seen you was your version of "Oil and Water." I get great reactions from it. What i decided to do was mix it with two other "Oil and Water" effects. The three when put together creaters a routine where each phase makes it seems more impossible and as fair as can be... ...or somethings I just do your routine. Really, each of the "Oil and Water" routines are strong on their own. Thanks for sharing, Tom Matrix.

Hello Tom. This was an excellent video, and I've successfully made lots of double-faced cards since watching it. I have a question though... have you ever made a mis-indexed Ace? I'm attempting to make cards for a Final Aces routine, but struggling with the method to put a 2C index at one end of an AC. At the moment I'm cutting out the 2C index, and a space for it on the AC card, and sticking it on with Elmers... but it's difficult to disguise the obvious split lines and discolouration. Any tips?

Few notes. First do you still gaff cards the same way or any new techniques Second are you sure rubber cement is the best option? Have you tried pink stick glue by Elmers Third this seems like a good technique but way way too time consuming for the price of the gaff. If the cards are not examinable why not glue 2 cards together? I discovered a great glue by beacon for laminate cards that don’t require sanding. For the time and effort saved I personally think it make sense unless you need a full deck of gaffed then I would recommend splitting. But man I can’t justify the time especially if you need hundreds of these cards. Finally I won’t worry about alignment since I shave the cards with a paper cutter and round the corners. Cleans up the corners and glue

Tip:you can use old cards that has soft corners How to make old cards:dont put your choosen card/cards in the box instead put it outside and you can play with them But you cannot do this when playing with the card/cards:tapping the corners of the card/cards on a hard surface But pls when peelling the back/front pls dont do it fast or your card/cards will not be perfect
