Y'know, having more plain models isn't a bad thing, it encourages creativity and modification. The Gundam Base colorless "Painting Model" EG's are a great example of that and it's a shame that they're not a main product. Nothing says "gunpla is freedom" like having models that need a little work to shine.

Yeah but the thing is that some of us don't even have the money or the time to modify kits. It would be nice if Bandai could put variant kits without the P-Bandai curse like they used to.

It's actually a somewhat smaller segment of the community that actually paint or modify Gunpla, a lot of people just build them. So there might not be the financial justification to devote a production line to "basic" Gunpla, as fun as it would be. It's not like you can't grab basic parts from other kits like GM Sniper and such to modify, and just base coat them.

The Build Strike Exceed Galaxy's backpack is meant to fuse with the back pack of the Star Build Strike and the Build Strike Cosmos. That's why the shield has those ball joints, its to be put on the skirt armor with the rail canons shown on the Star Build Strike.

I already have plans to kitbash and custom color this thing with the Lah Gundam. I'm calling it the Lah Gundam Exceed Galaxy. It's basically the Lah Gundam in OG tri-color colors (RX-78-2 colors) but with the half-circle armor on the shoulders and skirt the same color as the Exceed Galaxy’s pink-maroon parts.

i'll wait until we got more models before calling it "mainstay". sure, we got 5 EGs now, but 2 of those are just variants of the first 2. i'll call it "mainstay" when we get some antagonist mobile suit like Zaku or the likes

@oryzaa378 We actually have six now. 3 Base units: RX-78-2, Strike, Nu 2 units based on the Base unit: Lah, Exceed Galaxy 1 recolor unit: Strike Rouge But I can totally imagine it if you considered Strike Rouge as not part of the count, since nothing separates it other than the color.

Quick tips:you can actually panel line the detail below the clear parts for example, the under shield clear part

12:46 are the ball joints that the shield's peg holes and the arm attachment use the same. You could swap one of the peg holes with the arm mount for a better shoulder position

3:00 very cool lighting circular scan effect even without digital effect editing. 😊😊 About the head cameras, it made think of an idea by cutting a blue-clear plastic sheet and sticking it with a little glue just for detailing.

I just switched to bandai with my first kit being the gundvolva, then next my first rg the nu gundam, i was really motivated to save up because of you! The next kits id be getting are the rg uni, hg demi barding, the calibarn and the dilanza sol, thank you for inspiring me!❤❤

If I didn't already have an EG Strike, I would've picked this up. I'm not a huge fan of the seed designs in general, and it doesn't really do it for me. That being said, these EGs are phenomal engineering, marrying style with economy, and I'll always recommend them to beginners.

The base hole under the model kit is not a problem when you have several others all over the model kit itself, Bet you can put the base connected to the back of the skirt!

the versatility of this kit is awesome the silhouette of the mobile suit with the fighter on the arm, the sword shield on the other, and the Aile Strike pack from the previous HG release makes it look absolutely fire

11:18 Funny that you mentioned 30 Minutes Missions with that backpack adaptor. I'm certain that they stole it from the adaptors that the 30 Minutes Sisters have- the length is just different, and the C-clip connector is dropped lower than normal.

Work very well on UV blacklight 365nm. Red clear parts and eye camera are glowing. No jerk glowing from other color parts. Try it.

If you put Gaia Metallic Silver under the area which cover by the clear part,you will get more shining from the part when you take photo from it, metallic red works well, but silver work the best,it enhances the reflection of light under the clear part and make it more lively

Fun fact: if you flash it's eye and clear part with UV light it will light up. Really recommend u try this in the next video

2 types of Gundams that are like the Ingram Patlabour. One Calibarn Gundam has black on the body like the Ingram Patlabour. 2 strike exceed galaxy the pink color is like a police siren's red light like Ingram Patlabour

That "Entry Grade system" you said about the beam rifle's blade is quite off in detail, sure it called EG system but the EG is stand for "Energy Glitter" which say it can transfer energy to somewhere instead of flow it through inner frame like RG system

My only issue is that, for mine at least, is that the legs like to pop off at the waist connection joint. Also the shoulders have a tendency to fall off too.

I have the Entry Grades of the 4 original 00 Gundams. That's actually where I started building them. Not the same Entry Grade class being discussed here. Well, uh, they're technologically far behind versus the new Entry Grade. Not a lot of movable parts. Needs a lot of painting. No beams. Missing gimmicks and weapons. The only good thing I can think of is that they're solid bricks that remain tough for many years. Because, like I said, lack of movable parts. I have the Virtue standing on display along with some HGs. Some HGs fall back or forward. The Uraven Gundam breaks apart when I try to get it back up.

I bought the entry grade nu gundam for my first kit ever. After time passed the joints started getting loose and the whole kit started falling apart. Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know if this will happen to this kit too?
