Omg this is like heaven sent 😭 I just started lashing and I did my sisters lashes and they are falling off after 3 days and u hit every point. I got so discouraged because It took me 3 hours and 30 min 😭 and I didn’t lash every lash. I was literally the worst from my class 🥺 it took me 12 hours to finish one eye! Can you do a video on how to deal with so many lash layers, baby hairs, downward lashes? I am a new lash tech and I am having difficulty with this 🥺I tried taping back the lashes and get the bottom layer. However, those bottom layers lift up making it difficult for me to apply a extension on.

I'm new and I can identify with all of these. I've only had 2 clients but I'm practicing on my mannequin and manifesting better days ahead.

This video was soooo needed i started self teaching my self a year ago and i was decent but then got discouraged because it wasn’t happening fast enough i didnt think i was good..however i took my lash class sunday and i am so ready to do this i am way more encouraged and more passionate about it. I know i Just need to be confident and patient. Thanks again 😘

Updated: I have done a couple a few more clients. And after this video, I did start to build more confidence and now I finish within 1. 30 minutes. I just been really slow and build up my clientele but now I’m able to give a cat with fullness to the lashes they don’t look empty and I do it within an hour I am very proud of myself and how far I’ve come it's just the clientele for me it’s been hard to get ladies to sign up I have offer November sale but still haven’t gotten anyone My first client was a classic and it took me about 2 1/2 hrs My second client took me 3 hrs and I didn’t fill up all the lashes bc her bf came to pick her up but I honestly saw an improvement TODAY I have another client later on today and I need some encouragement I hope it turns out okay/good 😬

i’m glad u made a video about this. i thought i knew how difficult lashing would be, and then i got certified 😭 instagram models don’t even look the way they do online due to editing/angles etc. practitioners do the same thing. it’s our portfolio, so i get it. but when the only media portrayals are inaccurate, it makes it difficult 😅

I have been working on my sister and she tells me I need to gain confidence bc as you mentioned, all these sharp tools so closed to someone's eye i get so scared to hurt someone. And she says she feels how tensed I can be... getting so nervous that my fans don't come out well when at times I'm really good at it! Another thing I'm struggling with i think my glue dries too fast for my skills at the moment... i CAN NOT get it to stick! As a new lash tech I already did 3 people ( friends and family- just classic) feedback was..they wanted more lashes. I took a xtreme lash coarse years ago and now getting back in to it. I took a refresher coarse with a lady a town over and have watched numerous you tube videos. Really enjoyed this video. It’s hard starting out as a lash tech. Meeting expectations and pressuring yourself to do sets. My first set took almost four hours and their lashes was so straight it was so hard! They were falling off after a week I was devastated.

I am really scared to people’s lashes! It’s more because I do online training and I’m more of a face to face learner... and my trainers told me to lash close family and friends but I just don’t want anything to go wrong! But thankfully I have an amazing parnter that allowed me to do a classic set on him and although we didn’t get to finish it (because our son was up to no good 🤣) I gained that bit of confidence!

Thank you so much for posting this video. I am a people pleaser too and the first set I did was on my daughter in law. I felt so defeated until a few days later, knowing she had not lost but one or two lashes, then I felt more confident. I am my worst enemy so this was very uplifting to me.

This video helps so much. i really felt like giving up today. i just got my certificate and started working at a salon and i’ve only done about 10 fills and full sets total, my boss told me today there’s been a lot of negative feedback from a few clients that i didn’t lash all the lashes, there were gaps, and she even said i might not have future clients because of my work. I believe working at a busy salon probably isn’t the best choice for a beginner but i thought i could handle it. my speed was also a huge issue apparently. I only take 3 hours to do a full set so Definitely not as long as 5,6+ hours, but hearing all that negative feedback made me want to never go back and never lash again.

Love this. I needed to hear all this! I have been doing for the most part one client a day unless there is a time gap between. Tomorrow is my first back to back appointments

I am a beginner and this is a brilliant vid for me as its gone through everything I feel. I am yet to go out there in the real world and am nervous about it. I also do nails. I have done mobile and thrown myself into it getting training models etc but with lashes I am more nervous about guess its because its a very delicate part of the face. I do compare myself always as I know I can't be as good as the pros yet and practice is the way forward. Xx

i started working for a certain lash company 2 months ago and this is my first time ever doing lashes. i’m still in training and i’m struggling a lot because i only get 1-2 hours to do a full set and i can barely get 50% coverage in that time. they’re putting so much pressure on me to pick up the pace while also trying to perfect my placement and it’s so hard…AND they’re telling me i should’ve been done training weeks ago ugghhh
