In my opinion, this is the turning point where the show jumps to be a bit more grown and darker

I'd say Zuko Alone is already the turning point, but I know what you mean.

I feel like when we see Uncle Iroh redirect the lightning in book one. It was the first time that he had done it. He looked really surprised that it had worked😅

My favorite scene of the series is Iroh explaining to Zuko the 4 elements and how you need to understand all of them to become complete.

Looking forward to these reactions! One thing I want to comment on before I forget from the beginning is that Katara earned recognition as a Waterbending Master between Season 1 and 2. Aang still is learning from her, because he didn't come as far in the first season. The show doesn't really put a lot of clear emphasis on it, but she is his teacher even as he moves on to learning Earth bending with Toph.

1:26 Toph actually is the only earth bender who doesn't use Hung Gar, her own technique is based on Chow Gar or Southern Praying Mantis. If you want to see what Katara means about using gentle nudges look more at the beginning of the Cave of Two Lovers because that's more when she's a master and not simply his training partner. Azula has peace of mind because she is quite sure of herself and that she's such a good fire bender. She's peaceful in her certainty of superiority. When Iroh talks about water and air I feel like they are fairly similar which would help to explain why Aang was able to pick up water almost the moment he tried it. Air is freedom and water is change. If you have freedom things can very quickly change and you must adapt to those changes otherwise it may end in disaster for you or even lead you to loosing your freedom. The name Wan Shi Tong literally means "He who knows ten thousand things" in Mandarin Chinese. Ten thousand things is also a Taoistic expression to mean all of creation. Also Wan Shi Tong's secondary form is supposed to be more of a serpent which alongside the owl is also a symbol of knowledge in some eastern cultures like China. Also the first episode with Toph they mentioned how shedding is a part of spring so yes it can be assumed that they are likely still towards the start of spring.

Great points. I just felt it was interesting that Azula had piece of mind meaning she's completely sure in her belief unlike Zuko. I still think the artists creating Wan Shi Tong's second form took inspiration from the cockatrice. It is a serpent like creature the only caveat is the wings and head of a bird like Wan Shi Tong had here.

Appa being kidnapped is legit so upsetting and it doesn’t get easier on rewatches.

I agree, although it was a little difficult for me to feel the stakes of it just because I don’t think they would kill Appa. I certainly don’t want him to come to any kind of harm though so it is nerve racking in that regard.

I remember being so sad (because of Appa) during the next couple episodes after watching when I was a kid lol Even though you're only in season 2 of ATLA, I would definitely tune in if you react to The Legend of Korra

Honest feedback: Djibril, I see great potential in you. Your editing skills are commendable, and your thumbnails show creativity. While your setup is alright, there's room for improvement. Despite being on KZfaq for some time, your channel remains small with low viewer counts. Given the abundance of quality material to react to, like "Avatar," you should be garnering thousands of views per episode, if not tens of thousands. However, you're stuck in the lower hundreds. There's something missing. Consider channels like yaboyroshi for inspiration on how to approach the series. Perhaps a more personal touch could help, shifting from "reel reacts" to something more reflective of your personality and brand. Remember, people come to your channel for you and the entertainment value you provide. Injecting more energy and consistency into your uploads could also make a difference. I'm saying this feedback with love and encouragement, no harsh sentiment. Better setup, better branding, more energy. Just my two cents, but by now, you should have a lot more viewers and subscribers. Whether you take this feedback or not is entirely up to you. However, there's undeniably something missing. Also Natalie Gold is a channel you should take inspiration from. Grow and flourish!

I appreciate you taking the time to give feedback and you brought up some good points. Couple things I would like to address as I have given thought to a lot of this in the past. I will say as well there is no hostility or defensiveness here whatsoever merely explaining my thoughts on the matter. The consistent upload piece is something I know I need to work on however I'm not a full time KZfaqr so there is only so much time I can devote to making content. I do plan on changing the set up at some point. And yes I will be branching out into original content down the road as reactions have never been the end goal for me. I am familiar with Natalie Gold. She's a prime example of what sells in reactions and she clearly does great at it. She brings the energy you're talking about just through her personality, be it exaggerated or not. I'm not like that and trying to be someone I'm not would be very draining and I'm sure come across as very fake. I've seen this on many reaction channels and it's something I can't watch. I checked out yaboyroshi's reactions to the first few episodes of Avatar at your suggestion. The "Group Reaction" is another big one for reaction channels simply due to the fact that it is a lot more natural being able to bounce ideas and jokes off of others. Also by it's nature its multiple reactions at once which can be much more appealing than just one person. Not something I'm working with at this time. It's clear just looking at the low numbers that my content isn't to the majority of people's liking however I enjoy making it and that's something I don't want to sacrifice for more views and attention. Putting on that façade would eventually make me dislike making this content completely. The style and vibe of the channel is bound to evolve as I continue. Again I appreciate you taking the time to write this out and provide suggestions, be assured that I have taken them into account.

@@reelnight Thank you for your thoughtful response! I appreciate that you didn't take my feedback as offensive. I agree with your stance on staying true to yourself and not faking a personality. Your authenticity is evident, and I believe infusing a tiny bit more energy into your content, while staying genuine, could attract more viewers. I understand all the points you mentioned. Take my feedback as you wish, keep what resonates with you, and forget what doesn't align with your vision. Looking forward to seeing how your channel evolves!
