The original film was made in 1024 with 3dsmax scanline. it consist of about ten sequences. The total render required 30 hours on 10 quadcore, so in fact 300 hours. Bernard Huc

@@gdlx31 Honestly , I do study Spanish Ships from 1500-1650( in special but I do like ships in general); I bulid models in different scales , and I paint oli galleys , galleons, " fustas, galizabras, galeazzas , navios de línea, carracas, carabelas ....well I thing yours is Great !!!🦅🦅🦅🐏🐏🐏🙂🙂💚🍀

Thatś what a call an excellent job, always difficult to find out how is divided the espace inside and und the body of the ship, is very nice the idea of set a amn to see the size of the different places. Congratulations from a guy who loves galleys and paints ship from 1550 to 1650.

Hello, This video exists in HD but when it was put online eight years ago, we preferred to publish it in low definition to avoid looting. At that time, this type of document was unique and we didn't want it to be appropriated by some people.

The oars are still in place even during the fighting. They are too long and too heavy to be installed vertically. The only time they are placed into the ship is when the galley are anchored in a close harbor, they are placed across the galley. Gérard Delacroix
