Zeus is only a generation removed from being a galactic entity. His father, Kronos (Chronos) is the dude on the bottom right. As god of time I would suspect that has become the embodiment of an expect/avatar of Infinity - the time sibling to Eternity. It was the celestials who evolved base humans into branches - the radiant Eternals (who include the earth gods), the Deviants (such as Surtur and the Inhumans and pretty much "monsters") and the Mutant gene. I would suspect that Herc has inherited enough from Zeuss to be near timeless himself, even though he's just a half-god bastard. ;)

The funny thing is that they made the Thor corps during Secret Wars before the run even started, so Thor being a title was already established. The people who complain aren't the same people who are reading the comics.

The best way to make your point is to make an observation (I have read the new thor and i liked), dont judge people feelings or say what they need to do (they should give..). Great part of the problem is people (and the writer) negate how much "Odinson" mean to some readers.. and adding salt to the wound with statements like Misoginy/bias will make everything worst.. Make an observation, intrigue them.. maybe they will read the HQ and enjoy.
