Galactus is like a Koala. He can only eat specific type of planet and it does not sustain him. But he complains about being hungry like a cat

It's kind of funny about soul thing in this story, because previously we talked about Mephisto mini-series where he called one of X-men worthless to him, because he didn't have soul in his reality. So there's two instances where being from another reality doesn't give you a soul for Mephisto to take.

This story is fun, but the panel of Galactus sinking slowly into a planet and his body absorbing the planetary energy and breaking the world is so badass and horrifying at the same time. Also its funny that Tiffany asked if Mephisto had nothing better to do, because he says in this comic that even if he fails he has an eternity to try to get the Silver Surfer,'s Soul anyways. Like he is just there for the lols. Also earlier in Engelharts SS run Norrin does try to stop Nova from picking a planet with life for Galactus, and she just says something along the lines of that without Galactus making balance in the universe then all life will cease, that he is a necessary force beyond the needs of the living of those on a planet. Also Morg was a herald that purposely chose populated worlds because he was a blood thirsty executioner pre herald. He actually takes over Nova as the herald and actually momentarily kills her before Galactus brings her back to life. Also I know Silver Surfer isn't a super popular back Issues thing to run, but I greatly appreciate it as a SS fan! Also as much as that Silver Surfer game sucks the soundtrack is awesome.

It actually depends, the planets have to have certain energies for him to feed upon and not every planet has those energies.

The fantastic four were created to emulate the four elements. Torch is fire, invisible woman is air, Thing is earth, and Mr. fantastic is water because he’s blue and flows like water. The same could be said about the heralds of Galactus. Terrax is earth, Firelord is fire, Airwalker was air and The Silver surfer as water (he surfs!) Neat.

I know that this came out several years before Terminator 2 did, but when Galactus started descending into the pits of Hell I couldn't help but picture the scene where the Terminator is being lowered into molten steel. Can you imagine Galactus' arm, as it slowly descends into the molten pits, giving Mephisto a thumbs-up? It made me laugh.

Honestly, I prefer Buscema’s Silver Surfer to Kirby’s, there’s something so human in the way he moves and how he looks. His expressions are super human and he goes well with his pain. Kirby draws a much more monsterous Silver Surfer, but I think it works for when he appears in Fantastic Four

Possibly the most incredible event I've ever witnessed in comics was a revelation in Earth X 20 years ago. Galactus was eating planets because there were Celestial baby eggs inside and he was actually preventing the overpopulation of Celestials in the universe, thereby maintaining a balance. The reason that he kept coming back to Earth was because there is a particularily powerful or special Celestial here. You didn't mention that in this episode, so is that an element that you don't like...? Anyway, fantastic episode as always. Thanks, guys...!!

I don’t know about the books because I haven’t read many of the OG Galactus stories but At least in the silver surfer cartoon it’s explained that Galactus feeds while the Harolds are looking for planets so that by the time he’s done, he can just go to the next one. Also my interpretation of why Surfer rejected the offer is because he still loves Shalla-bal while Frankie’s just like “SWEET! HOT DUDES” because if you remember Frankie is like early 20s and dated Johnny Storm so she isn’t pining for someone she can’t have she’s just like “hey if i can find a hot dude I’ll do it”

The random destroyed planet during the Galactus v. Mephisto fight was just the precursor race from Doom Eternal. They got wrecked because their power source for all their tech was literally hell.

Its always Mephisto who wants ruin everyone day especially with Silver Surfer which is honestly not a surprise to me at this point, and honestly I am surprised that Silver Surfer hasn't just shot Mephisto in the face and just tell him to go away which would've been super funny to see to silver surfer actually do that to Mephisto because I would be all for that because that sounds fun and badass at least in my opinion. :)

Has anyone ever tried to kill the Herald so they could replace them? I feel like the Cree or Skrull or whoever else does interstellar war would be unstoppable if they could control or at the least be allied with the Herald
