Our backyard gardening journey began from March 2022. In the past 6 months, my roommate and I had transformed the 9 sqm (96 sqf) space into an abundant land, from preparing beds, sowing seeds, building an arch trellis, transplanting plants, fertilizing, mulching, disease control, to a joyful vegetable harvest. Hope you would enjoy it.

While having a watering system is great, your rot is a good example of why it's not always dependable. I self water all my plants. It takes longer, but I find it relaxing and I can check on all my plants while doing it. But beautiful garden! I wish I had a bigger yard to create something like this

It was a video that made me feel comfortable and happy to see the garden decorated and growing plants in the yard because it was so environmental and clear! The process of turning the yard into a garden by myself was so much fun and interesting! I prefer raising small animals as it can contribute to improving the atmosphere.

Hahaha we have 4 hens as well, currently are considering adding another big raincatcher barrel, and potentially raise some water plants and fish there(i need to persuade my partner before doing it though)

In Australia we have what's called Grow Carts!! Where if you have excess produce...you swap it with other ppls produce on a grow cart somewhere in the neighbourhood!! It's a weird idea...but it works!!

my family have this kind of field used as vegetables garden, fish pond, and livestock's cages (goats, chickens, ducks, and soon swallow nest), but tbh i never really helping my dad to taking care of it (lol). i think this vid is reminder to me :,) also, good content though!

What an incredible harvest! And how fun that you tried so many varieties of tomato. :-) Have you ever had any critters try to dig up the pre-fermented bokashi compost? I've been using the "soil factory" method but might try burying it in a friend's backyard sometime.

I don’t believe we had any critter problem, maybe there are some, we just didn’t notice. We tried The soil factory method as well! Both of our containers are filled with compost now otherwise we will do more !

My sister is a farmer and she says that the water spinach shouldn't be grown from the branches cause it's gonna be bitter. Let buy seeds for water spinach next time🌼. I wish that I could grow many kinds of flowers like both of you. Your garden is so beautiful.

@@galastudio9As a home gardener, I started half from seeds, the other half from stems to get a quicker harvest. So long you water enough and not in the direct heat, it won’t be bitter.
