I show you how to fix a Samsung Galaxy A12 phone that has a black screen or the screen won't turn on, however you know the phone is on maybe you feel it vibrating, getting phone calls, LED light, notifications coming in, etc but the screen still won't come on. I give you 6 possible easy fixes. If you tried all the steps and still no go, then try every single step again 6 or 7 times. Let me know which step or combination of steps worked for you and give a like it worked, if still no go then give a dislike. At least 70% of you should have a working phone if you followed each step properly and/or done it multiple times. Good Luck!

Thank you! I had already tried steps 1 and 2, which didn't work. Actually, step 1 worked before I watched your video, and then 5 minutes later the black screen of death happened. Nothing I tried worked. I googled black screen for A12 and found your video. The smack method worked while I was watching the next step about putting my phone in the freezer, which thankfully I did not need to do.

I would like to say thank you very much for this video. My disabled mom recently received her Samsung phone and was having problems turning it on from her dropping it accidentally. We tried help from chat and they sent her a link about the warranty. She received the phone March 3 and the warranty went out on the 12 of March. I'm here like everyone else because my screen randomly goes black while in use. My toddler is the culprit in this case. It's sucks and I highly doubt I can fix it due to the longterm physical damage but this video is so very helpful! We're all so appreciative of this and you're such a sweetheart for making it. This is life changing. I upgraded to A53 $500 phone, paying on it monthly. Didn't even have it a month and crushed it in the box crusher at work....didn't get insurance either. So I put my SD card in my old A12, so I'd have A phone. Broke it on a Friday, got insurance 3 days later. They send me the A12...because that's where my sd card was. Even tho that's not the phone I'm paying for insurance for. So I send back A12, in hopes they wouldn't investigate too much and just let me get A53...well they refused. So I'm still using A12, screen went black. Grabbed my mom's old A12, hers won't turn on. So I'm back with my old A12 and screen goes out and if I get a call it'll turn back on. Anyways, t mobile sucks. How do they sleep at night!!!

worked. held the restart for a long time, felt the phone vibrate 6 or 7 times before the samsung a12 came on. Had to continue with the tap and smack methods for a while since the screen would go grey, then white stripes, then homescreen and such. Now that i had it on and working i am rice bagging it, just in case moisture is also an issue (was used for music while skiing). Thanks!

@@vessh_artes same with my mother. She bought the phone like 2 months ago, it's still pretty new. She broke the screen, but that had nothing to do with anything else, it was working just fine. Until 2 days ago, the screen went totally black, and it doesnt respond to anything. I'm going to try these few methods for the phone, and tell how it went. Seems pretty common.

They won't repair it my provider actually told me I can either get a new phone or I can keep using this one in its unusable state as if it's just a normal everyday problem every phone has (I'll probably be getting a new phone next time I go to pay the bill cuz even though this video helped my phone still has an issue and if I continue with it too much longer the phone won't have any possibility of working cuz of how badly I'm gonna smash it trying to get it to work)
