The fact that the a52 5g still has a headphone jack, is a win for me. Sometimes I forget to charge my ear buds, so it's nice to have options

Bought the A52 5G two weeks ago and i have absolutely no complaints whatsoever! It is a great phone , with nice cameras and snapy performance. I strongly recommend it if you are in the look out for a midranger !

I love my S20FE5G, thank you for a great review. I do miss the headphone jack as I used it for other accessories which the adapter doesn't always work with.

I would have loved to go with the S20 FE but damn .... The headphone jack is back for me after 4 years without it. The A52s finally feels like truly complete smartphone again. No shenanigans, just the features that are really helpful in the day to day life. Especially now with the A52s, the processor is changed so my biggest concern is gone. No way I would have gone with the S20 FE

Great analysis you made here. I just purchased the A52 4G in Brazil (same specs, but a 90 Hz display and no 5G) for the equivalent to 290 US dollars during a Samsung anniversary sale in September 2022. An extraordinary mid-range smartphone, very good cameras (my son has the S21fe and the final results are very similar. Also, I get over 9 hours of screen time with the screen set up to 60 Hz - over 14 hours of total time

The A52 Phones are also very easily repairable. The Teardown of them is beautiful and Battery, Charging port and display are as easy as possible changeable.

Ok, you don't have to do this and it might seem weird or make no sense to do this, but could you please do a Samsung A70 VS Oneplus Nord N10 5G. I want to compare to see if the Oneplus Nord N10 5G makes a difference or is a good upgrade from Samsung a70 since you own them both. Don't forget the S20 FE has the faster X55 modem for 5G. Going with the S20 FE, just wish it had Gorilla 🦍 Glass 5 like the A52.

Not quite a full comparison. I missed the sound of the speaker(s), the QI wireless charging is more than charging alone. When you have a smart watch, you can charge it with the S20FE, but not at the A-series. These things are in every day use more important than playing a game. Overall a nice comparison though.

Sorry biggest comparison was missing that of the price . That was one of the reasons I looked at your site. If you did not want to say exact price you could have said “ in general the note is about 20% more expensive or the A52 is about 20% cheaper over all”. But all in all quite a good show….
