I have both and honestly the airpods just fit better and the touch controls on the beans kinda suck. Buds plus had better touch response but those were worst fit on me

Im so proud of samsung for giving us this amazing product that is 100$ cheaper than those airpods ( i feel dumb for buyng them) im not hating on apple i just think that theyre a bit overpriced, i dont see a difference between the airpods and the airpods pro ( tried them both) except the NC which was missing in the airpods BUT FOR REAL THO I THOUGHT THAT I WILL GET SOME EXTRAORDINARY BUDS FOR 250$... but instead i got a toothbrush looking earbuds ( i haaaate the design) and the NC which is not the best ever i am selling them of course and ill stick to these buds live for now

@@matthewmendoza1366 use a dongle. i havent tried the airpods or buds live vs the tws pro, but i use the tws for basic things like call and music and it works well, then i use real speakers when i get home. sure maybe the airpods or budslive has better sounds than the tws but i dont think that extra sound is worth shelling that much money for the average person who just wants to make a call or listen to music and doesnt care about the extra details. if you care, then buy the airpods pro.

Yes... and... no. Yes, active cancellation works in theory by inverting the sound waves. This is true. But active cancellation isn't even 50% of the actual cancellation. Passive cancellation is what does the heavy lifting of blocking the bulk of sound from entering your ears in the fist place, and it will always be more efficient - we cannot bend the laws of physics. Also, active cancellation only works on sound waves that *can* be inverted properly in real life, AKA white noise. Outside of a plane/subway and to cancel sounds like : rain, a microwave, an air purifier and so on, it cannot really do anything. It just works on constant long noises, not sudden ones like a gulp of wind or a car alarm. This is why those things will *always* be heard on the other side of the call no matter how crazy good the cancellation is. Bottom-line : I love the live because they're not gonna hurt your hearing and are crazy confortable. I love an open-air design. But if you're looking for really any level of noise cancelling, they are going to fall flat in practice 100%. As a sound engineer, there wasn't even a need for me to look at reviews to know that. I do however command them they even attempted to re-create a portion of the experience of using sealed buds with an open-air design, making it even more innovative. But it's logically, in terms of physics, not gonna work.

@@jas_bataille I appreciate the more in depth response. Want trying to elude to these being over and above a bose or other full headset, so sorry if that came out wrong. But knowing they're an open ear bud, and can take the vast majority of the white noise you described, I think they're an amazing product. Esp from the perspective of something you can wear, comfortably, all day (and I do, use them as primary headset for calls, with music in between).

@Matthew I liked them. Fit perfectly. Don't fall while jogging, and the sound quality is good. Plus, don't hurt ears even after keeping them for hours. I like the option to change music settings like bass, soft, etc. Plus, they are light and therefore they don't feel uncomfortable in the ears.

@@hamdahxa7587 For me, they are perfect. The only con I think is that if you have to itch upper portion of your ear, you have to remove the buds. I guess that might be true for most other buds as well. But other than that, I found them worth their value.

As said in the announcement, it's designed to block low frequency sounds, but not high frequency so that you could hear the people talking to you, unlike some other brands. But nonetheless it can block wind, people talking in the distance, birds chirping, dogs barking from a distance, and other people's footsteps for me but not loud noises. Hope this helps! :)

@@wesley7250 nah they're actually really good for talking to people without taking out your earbuds. I've been using them at work and they're awesome. It's the same idea with the og airpods.

I bought them deliberately so I can hear everything around me, I have sennheiser pcx 550 for ANC. They are perfect for people who want to hear surrounding and don't like in ear canal type silicone tipped earphones. I just don't understand why people compare them to any other type of in ear headphones or overear headphones.

Especially when putting your head on a pillow. Regular earbuds, airpods just won't cut it for me. The Live ones sir comfortable even during rest period.

Live your life. They're made not to cancel noise from around you. It's made so you're still aware of what's happening while also being able to enjoy your music. Same with being able to have a conversation.
