Like me, My galaxy S22Ultra screen got that Greenline thing now. I can not afford the screen cz it costs exactly the price of another S22Ultra Thankfully, I have pre ordered The S24Ultra on the release day. I have it on hand now I bought it with my collected mony on bank now I collect money for S27 Ultra I belive my S24U is good 👍 My brother is a Apple 13 pro user he is also looking for a Samsung mobile he told me that apple isn't usefull as it looks because lot of restrictions + when I do stuff he couldn't do on his apple 😂 that runs his face like this: 😑 But his phone security is next level tho.. No..its not fake. A TFT is tough glass and not curved like AMOLED but you can see on the clip ..I am using TFT for 2 weeks now and it can fit on the same flip cover...about 3mm more thicker and the weight slightly more ..getting used to it..see my comments above..on costs and functions, deficits etc...Overall it's nearly the same

@@danteerskine7678 I think the same! My main comment is more about to "justify" to OLED users, that nowaday's Liquid Crystal Display aren't like that old CSTN or TN TFT of the past. Actually I fell in love to LCD when I bought a gorgeous Nokia Lumia 920. Before it, I used a Nokia E 7 Communicator OLED-based device, then I realized how good LCDs were already back then. I couldn't see any difference in exhibiting blacks, whites, reds, greens and blues. Though LCD wastes a little more energy due to its backlight, in practice, for my user experience, there weren't any distinguishable impact at all. Since then I go for LCDs, because apart from all of those, my eyes got sored and tired on using my Nokia E7: I tried again to use OLED in a Motorola X1, but my eye health decreased, for nevermore...

I don't recommend that an amoled for s9 as its a bit older now sorry, i think tft is best option as its cheaper. But better you buy a newer phone instead :) that's just my opinion if I was in your situation :) i have an s21 5gb and s20 ultra like new on my store if interested:) I can do a discount for you! take care my friend

Battery last longer on amoled but not on tft as it gets hoter sometimes.

It's ok I been using TFT for many phones they last longer enough and not too expensive :)

I believe the answer to your question is No I'm afraid, the only settings we have is the Backlight in the menu which has only three settings Day, Night and Auto. No adjustment for dimming

No ..for me even with AMOLED the edge lighting did not work after about a month ...so now with TFT I do not miss that

It was ok but it gets hoter when watching videos, my advice better you buy used amoled from aliexpress good price and quality.

@@Saidphonetech thanks for ur response, the thing is, I don’t want to buy the original screen AMOLED because of the AMOLED BURNS. I’ve been waiting for LCD for s8 plus so i can use it longer without “AMOLED BURNS”

@@russelld452 yeh you can try TFT, there is a video on my Channel changing lcd and middle farm for s8plus. I ordered lcd from aliexpress and they gave me middle farm and back cover for free.

That screen you have replaced to prolly has a much lower resolution than the original one you had before.

Yeh someone asked the same question, I replaced TFT on same phone and they still work fine , no issue, if you wanna save some money buy TFT. For consuming the battery it’s just normal won’t drain the battery fast, touch sensitivity as my experience it was just as Amoled.

@@Saidphonetech thanks so much even communicating with the seller was so difficult to get straight answers because of a the langauge barrier. Of course the new method is using the microscope-laser system to mend the Amoled screen leads will take time to appear as main stream repair..as the machine costs about $US15K...some you tube videos on the machine which is used before for sticking on the fragile plastic looking cable strip on the screen which gets cut or broken on the thin leads and using the laser they can selectively clear the leads that cause the green line...my understanding is that it's also technically a challenge to learn and so the cost plus the learning curve will take a long time for this repair gadget to appear but surely a game changer and money spinner for repair centers...until some other better screen system arrives!.
