Hello all! This is a video of me singing Isao Sasaki’s “Galaxy Express 999” theme from the Japanese anime franchise “Galaxy Railways”. This was the first television series that I watched when I was a child, so I wanted to share my favorite theme song with you all. I hope you enjoy!
In an alternate future, spaceships are built to resemble trains that are capable of interplanetary travel for the Galaxy Railways Company. The Galaxy Railways is made up of a series of large electromagnetic orbit rings that create energy shields to protect the “trains” that move between them, creating the “tracks” they follow. The Railways’ “Super Express” No. 999 is pulled by an advanced space locomotive that is built to replicate a JNR Class C62.
