Galaxy Photon New Combos with the New Horus Cards! - Revived Legion Selection Pack

Күн бұрынGalaxy-Eyes Photon Deck can be played with the new Horus cards, from the new selection pack "Revived Legion". Horus gives Galaxy Photon an easier access to No 90, which can protect combo from Nibiru. Imsety, in particular, can help mill Photon Jumper and trigger its GY effect. Besides, Horus can also give the deck additional recovery needed, and possibly going into R8 XYZs like Galaxy-Eyes Cipher, before playing Last Hope Numbers into C62 for OTK.

The deck prefers going 1st, to do combos and make a strong board consisting of its pure Extra deck cards. The deck can summon No 38, 90, and also Solflare for interruptions. Then, the deck focuses to OTK on your second turn (turn 3 of the game). Despite all that, the deck is very capable of going 2nd and OTK. Horus can actually bait some interruptions on them before you summon C62 and OTK with it. Altho the deck uses Horus cards, Trance is still a must in this deck. The reason is you dont always open Horus cards, so there are always cases when you can only play pure combo for going 1st.

Some pros and cons of playing Galaxy Photon with Horus Pros: 1. Easier access to No 90, which makes going 1st combo safer than usual 2. Lesser chance of bricking of only handtraps, because Horus can just discard them and give you at least 1 R8 XYZ (No 90) 3. Horus can help going 2nd, as well as become an additional recovery Cons: 1. Doesnt work well with Trance, but you can always discard it. 2. The combo has become less linear with Horus cards, so new players may need time to learn 3. Hundred's ED banish/steal eff is used fewer times than in purer Galaxy deck, since either the combo doesnt need Hundred/you can only summon GEPD once I think this deck can climb higher, tho it will be harder for newer players due to the meta and other stuffs. Do you think that this version is better than pure galaxy? There's also a chance we're getting the new galaxy eyes cards in the galaxy structure deck that comes out with the xyz event. So will the horus package still be useful then? Asking cuz horus engine is super expensive and quite niche.

@@benpaul3588 Slightly better, due to more consistent and more immune to handtraps. I think the new Galaxy structure will only have an additional new card, Photon Delta Wing, along with the current Galaxy Photon cards. Delta Wing version doesnt use Horus, but Horus is an archetype splashable to many decks, like Kashtira or Adventure. So buying it now is like an investment on staples imo.

Question from a new Galaxy-Eyes/Yugioh player in general! I noticed the Tachyon support is OCG exclusive, will it come to TCG/Master Duel any time in the near future? Thanks and really cool video to watch!

@@diamonddonphan5091 yes, it will come near the future. Every card that is on the OCG atm is going to arrive to TCG, when? we don't know. The pack is called Duelist of Brillance and the last TCG pack that we have a date is Terminal Revenge and then Infinite Forbidden so when is going to arrive the Tachion support? we don't know yet.

I slipped in some blue eyes support into my galaxy eyes deck. Jet dragon, melody, trade in help out in fun ways. With the Horus engine, I feel like it's a good bridge to all three.

I just made photon dragon a week before this pack came out, so with the inclusion of Horus I think the deck is going to be a breath of fresh air from playing snake eyes and lab. Totally fun deck + I hate nib, can’t wait to pull for it!

You played an amazing trick in the last duel : detach afterglow and attach a GE from deck to it , everytime i ss it to the field not atached it, thank you I abandoned playing Galaxy-eyes deck when all players in MD play Bystials, Horus Engine looks like nice 😮

I've been playing pure galaxy-eyes and felgrand in ranked, now i have another deck that I'm really interested in. When the game updated i sall horus and it reminded of level 8 horus black flame, but they have no relation to each other. But hey thanks, this video eas great

I only wish the new Horus cards weren't so expensive otherwise I would have decided to get them for my galaxy-eyes deck but when they cam out to master duel I feel hesitant to get those cards since a lot of them are UR cards but if it is worth getting them then I'll definitely keep an eye out for them ( if I get lucky enough to get them that is )

The upcoming event may help then hope you get lucky with opening card packs. Unless something special comes like a 3k bundle, i think my strategy may be to earn enough free gems and open a 10 pack.

but with Galaxy Eyes Structure Deck coming, i may have to get that first and also i need 2 more copies of Salamangreat Structure Deck. Decisions, Decisions... but love the festival events as can get a lot of free gems then base it on priority.

Horus looks expensive, yes, but I think this archetype is like another Kashtira or Adventure package. They can be splashed into many decks. So buying it is like an investment on staples imo.

How do you even get to master with Galaxy? I'm familiar with the deck but I'm also familiar with constant bricking and generally being interrupted all the time. I'm hardstuck in diamond 5

Question how does Cipher X dragon’s effect work in MD? Is it for any light monsters regardless if they were on the field when the effect resolved, or does it only protect the monsters you currently control when you activate/resolve the effect?

They can, but you can't summon no 90 due to new Schwarchild's lock altho you can still search transmigration to counter nibiri
