For the folds you lost on the belt ( just an idea ) lay it down on a flat surface and add the folds then place a heavy object on top of it to help bring out that look and let it sit there for a few hours

You cam iron too, maybe. Depends on the fabric, but you may need a press cloth or pillow case between the obi and the iron

I will mention the belt for me even with the smaller adult size was to big so I used velcro to help fix that issue for me

Do you know if the adult Jedi robes all come in the same length? The size chart only shows waist and chest. Do they get shorter/longer with sizes?

Here is a tip. Go to amazon and you can get the Jedi belt, and a high quality tunic for $50. and for another $12 you can get a robe

This is an awesome robe. I'm glad to hear that the belts are big, I bought a jedi robe off of Amazon but the belt it came with is too small so I'll have to pick one up when I go next in September. When I went in February, I wore my Mandalorian Bounty Hunter hoodie, and I wore my Savi's workshop lightsaber on my belt with it, bringing to life my force sensitive bounty hunter character that I made on Lego Star Wars awhile ago.

Thanks, Dan-O - this was timely, as I was annoyed at myself this morning for not have gotten a tunic during my visit to WDW a couple of weeks ago, and was wondering what the size options would be for adults. I briefly visited the shop while I was there and saw them in person, but got sidetracked because it was a busy morning and never remembered to return. I have one from Cosplay Sky which is made nicely, but I like the way the material on the Disney one looks. Thanks so much for the details on this - very helpful and as I said - very timely.

Nice video! I'm a big man myself, but 6'1' and my biggest problem is getting cloths that fit. Especially at Disneyland... Constantly disappointed, see something I really like! Not my size!!! So more of these for us bigger guys thanks!!!

I wasn't sure whether or not I should bring my Mandalorian cosplay gear but now, that I understand the rules I can be un-encumbered with gear. Bit of a shame. I think fans cosplaying so many races would definitely add to the experience but I understand the reasons. I love both your channel and Sir James. I went just recently and was really happy as a bigger guy to find sizes that fit me, i ended up getting the entire set of sith robes, the tunic, belt, lightsaber clip. i did this mainly because i had saved for months for this trip, but honestly it really warmed me up to know that my sizes were kept in mind and that even with my being above average, i still looekd fantastic in the outfit. also helps that it's high qualtiy material being used

Dang Dan-O I did not know that we were the same size. My family is going to disney in a few weeks and they are getting me the robes so your video is really helpful. Thanks for the awesome and fun content. Also I noticed you only had half of the tunic. There is a second part. It looks like you have the undertunic. There is also an overtunic piece that looks like it goes over the base tunic that you wore.

I hadn't planned to buy anything when I went to Disneyland last month, but then I found the Black Spire Outfitters... I spent $250 for the tunic, belt and a cloak. I should have bought a larger size than I did since the obi was too short as well. I think I need to buy the bigger size next time

I'll probably go on Amazon. Now I did find a sith acolyte mask that's 40 bucks. that'll be like the first thing I'll get. and then I'll get a 3XL cloak that fits me cause im 4 feet 11 inches. And I'll get a lightsaber and a holocron to go with it. Now Im not a cosplayer by any means just figured I'd do something really cool

I live In Florida and I went this past weekend to galaxys edge and I was under the impression that you could t wear the Jedi or sith robes. Well let me tell you, you would t believe the amount of people what had them on and we’re walking around. So I don’t know if the changes the policy in Orlando.

I've had such a hard time putting together my Jedi cosplay. I'm 6'1" 340 lbs. I've had to buy from here and there. Mostly from Etsy very expensive.

Dan-O, I'm a bigger man myself, planning to eventually visit Batuu. I have in mind a sort of Jedi-ish smuggler character (not canon, totally original). Maybe a Jedi tunic with a smuggler vest and a Jedi belt for a lightsaber. If I'm understanding the guidelines you're describing here, then my original character should be permissible to Disney, right? (I actually started developing this character after reading about 'living your own Star Wars adventure/story' with regard to the starcruiser hotel in Florida, but I want to make sure the dress guidelines would be appropriate. The vest is something I already have, made by my late wife, for my bigger size, in a light brown that I think would go well over a Jedi tunic. I'm also writing out this character's story. I'm a writer, that's what I do. :-) )

I am glad to hear we are allowed to wear Jedi outfit. But if not for me thinking we’re not allowed to wear outfit I would not have thought of wearing my black leather assassin creed jacket. I got the idea from other Jedi’s NOT dressed up in their Jedi outfits and I also remember the fan art of assassins dressed up like Jedi’s. When I. Just brought my jacket I had a lot of complaints from both tours and employees. The only Jedi accessories I had was the belt and lightsaber clip. Eventually I am thinking of adding armor and and a shield to my cosplay outfit and turn the cosplay to a Jedi paladin. I even added a black Genji mask from overwatch, with a little modification and paint it will be completely different especially with the hood on. Once I saved up enough money I will be a crossguard light saber from saberforge to make it even cooler. Here’s a link to the jacket so you or anyone can get a good description of it or just buy it. I know theres no robes but what about ponchos that don't drag at all ? I have an ap and me and my gf are trying to figure out what we can wear to substitute for a robe she has a hooded poncho and i have a classic one

Ponchos are likely ok. I saw a guy wearing a full cal kestis costume at the lightsaber meetup 2 weeks ago. He had on a full poncho.

Don’t pick your robe or tunic based on your bulk or width pick it based on your height if your 6ft tall get the largest set of everything the only thing that will not apply to this is the tunic sash it will not fit you will have to modify it with Velcro

My review: Way too expensive don’t waste your money, I found some on Amazon that are way comfier and you can get the full set for the price of the Galaxy’s Edge belt.

I got a set from amazon for about $70 for the whole set tunic, belt, and robe. And it feels really cheap in comparison to these. It’s nice that it’s the full set but the difference in quality is huge.

Sleeves like those are such a pain honestly. I love bell sleeves and similar sleeves but they ALWAYS get in the way. I have the Slytherin robes from Universal Studios and they're always in my way for everything I do lol

Great video, as a bigger guy I always feel bad that most Jedi clothes online look so small. Two questions, Do you notice any difference when you wear the tan Jedi robes as far as appearance for bigger guys? Also I was looking online for those pants that you mentioned in the beginning of the video do you know what they are called or have a link?
