I'd say the S20+ and S20 Fe did well considering half the video they were working at 120hz compared to half that of the other phones

It would have been better results with snapdragon. I get around 8 hours and 20 minutes on my S20 FE

A71 got those efficient mid-range chips in a large beautiful form factor. I regularly get 10+ hours screen on with lots of KZfaq. Awesome screen, awesome camera, looooooong lasting battery life.

This is really commendable effort. The hardest review I have seen so far, better than the fancy short ones.

I think S10 lite is the absolute winner here as pub g had been played at extreme settings in all phones except the galaxy A71.

Is the S20 Fe you're using an Exynos variant?

The 5G version of the FE has better battery life than this one. That's enough to to make a difference. Great work, and thanks for bringing us this test.

Great video as always, personally I'm quite impressed with the s20fe and note 10 lite's battery life and shocked by the iPhone's battery life.

I got around 5-8 hours on screen time when I had my A71 because I've been using WhatsApp and during traveling, network connectivity changes between E, H+, 4G and 4G+ all the time where I live. WhatsApp and mobile data is what drains the most data ouf of every phone but the A71 still manages that very well. I've recently switched back to an S10 and I'd wish that phone having a battery as good as the A71s and the SoC being as efficient but still powerful.

I think the S10 lite is the winner because the a71 had a low usage in its battery when the pubg test was going on.

My s 10 lite battery life is amazing when I changed from note 8 pro ..... I get a day and a half and the charging speed is better too

Im getting my a71 in a few hours, ill be upgrading from my s8 which ive had for almost 4 years, ill edit this comment when i get it! (I got it!, its really big. It'll take me sometime to get used to since my s8 was small and there are new features i haven't tried out. I love the camera, i recommended it)

Looking at the battery consumption based on mAh , apple seems to be the king. Had the battery been even 3800 that would have made it the winner. Good job 👍

Im one of a71 user, in this half year the bettry really help me in my daily using.

So much hate for the s20+ yet people expect amazing battery life when their screens are refreshing at twice the speed than most other devices. pair that with the large display, backlight, etc.. What do you expect? I get easily a whole day of usage on my s20+ without having to charge until bed time having it ready for the next day.. Not hating on the video, nicely done, but i think ive just about had enough of people talking trash about the s20+ and others saying its decent. 2 key pointers, LARGE screen, HIGH refresh rate? What can you expect from those stats?? Reduce refresh rate to 96hz, or 60hz and try the test again.

A71 has a single speaker , s20 fe and others has dual speakers . Also A71 has weaker processor at same battery capacity . Thirdly normal 60hz refresh rate .

Excellent work my friend. Just the test I needed. Was wondering wether to go IPhone 12 from the 11 or go back to Samsung with the S20 plus. And the Exynos version of the S20 plus seems to have reasonable battery life. So might head back home to Samsung. Love my iPhone 11 but I’m missing Samsung to be honest.

If i charge my s20 fe with 25w charger it took 1 hour 8 mins, and when i charged my a71 with 25w it took 1 hour 26 mins ....on the screen both are showing super fast charging option..... both have same capacity 4500 mAh battery 🤔🤔

I think when doing these test you should try and keep them at a similar refresh rate similar brightness and similar resolution to keep the test fair
