The S22 Ultra with the Snapdragon throttles MUCH faster and MUCH harder. The Iphone 13 Pro with the A15 Bionic dose throttle but not by a lot and once it hits its sustained performance it's nowhere near as big of a difference compared to it's performance for the first run through the 3D Mark benchmark

Storing data on the SD card means that (a) you can easily transfer the data between devices, and (b) if the phone logic board goes kaput, you haven't lost all of your data. Plus, if the SD card goes kaput (which, some of mine have in the past) then you don't need to buy a new logic board, you can just buy a cheap and cheerful SD card and get back some storage space.
