i also have the canadien version of the s23 ultra 512gb but the problem i have a low geekbench score do you also have the same probleme i have 1400 on single core geekebnch and 4500 on multicore ?

I have unlock version , my carrier is t-mobile and it's not capturing my Sim, I notice my SIM card doesn't do the click sound either. Ant suggestion on what to do ?

I have an unlocked version and use T-Mobile too. Bring the phone into any T-Mobile they should be able to help u.

It appears that I may need to have separate models if I do travel with a local SIM card. As a reminder, if your device ends in N, U/U1, or W, entering a network unlock code will NOT let you use the device in another country/region. Just record video with mic and see if making rattling or static sound. Chances are it’s still perfect.

I have read someone saying that the S23 ultra is region locked, so, if you have the US version (even if it's factory unlocked) it won't work with other country's SIM card. Is that true?

I haven't bought a galaxy s23 ultra but I bought a galaxy s10+ back when it was the newest Samsung phone. I bought it unlocked at a retail US store that sold both region locked and unlocked/region free phones and I inserted the sim card of my phone company in my country and have never had any issues, it works normally even today and it's still my primary phone. So, in your case, I would buy the unlocked version of the phone without any worries, it doesn't make any sense that they sell unlocked phones if you won't be able to make use of that feature.

Always back up your data before you change the SIM card. It is possible that a factory reset may occur, depending on the carrier that it is being switched to.

Cause they have the international dual sim version. If u are in US u can buy dual sim version from Amazon. 👍

@@ethantan9290 I have same thing, currently only has one physical sim, but inside the port i see gold contact points on both sides of the opening so im thinking if i just have dual sim tray it could work with fual sim

@CristianoRonaldo-tr3gb nope. Cricket is not compatible with new galaxy sim hardware. It'll fit and read. But you won't get any service

very strange i have my original ultra and i just bought a new one for my mom, i took the new one and gave her mine but i very simply switched the sim cards between the two and now my new phone with my old sim card thinks im in Japan and wont connect to anything?? my old phone was working just fine. I bought an esim in japan this september so that might be why its going there? but i dont even have the esim on the new phone haha idk

They changed me to an esims since I was having issues but still says sims card issues. Phone doesn't work well unless I turn on the wifi. But it's says 5g downloads slow turn off phone 5 times a day
