Switched from the Galaxy S23 to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. My first Ultra as well. Loved the S23 but love the S24 Ultra even more. S24 Ultra is an amazing phone. Samsung really makes amazing phone's. This is my 5th Samsung phone and I never once had an issue with any of my previous Samsung devices.

I hate the fact that I have to buy an iPhone purely for video. The s24 ultra has it all... except the video quality. So... I have to choose a closed, limited operating system that I don't enjoy, just because of that one factor. Damn. 😭

Excellent video. The only issue that I had with it was the comparison of Face ID to the face unlock on the Ultra. The two are not even in the same league for so many reasons. I do love Ultras though. My last phone was the 22 Ultra. My next will be a fold though.

The boxyness is the reason I downgraded to the S24 Plus. Same phone with slightly less benefits. I do miss that anti-glare S24 Ultra screen. It was a game changer when using it outside.

I agree with this. The S24 Ultra is great for outside video but not as great in low light situations like in a room with natural light. However, in my opinion it takes better selfie pictures than the iPhone. With the rear camera there always tends to not be a singular winner.

Tbh it’s all about personal preference right now, some phones do certain things better than the other but it’s not a huge gab.

They definitely need to optimize camera for social media. Specially on Instagram and Whatsapp status, also there's 0 bass in the speakers. My previous pixel 8 pro and 15 pro max were way better

As a person who used both Samsung is not anywhere close to 1) getting apps optimization same as iOS time and time again you will run into apps being choppy this is not Samsung fault bt android and their devs. 2) that face unlock is not better it's faster but not better. 3) on-time software support. Im in Asia specifically China those updates come 3 or 4 months late some are key because the phone might hv nagging bigs so that will stay with you for a 1/4 of a year until it's fixed when US markets would hv that issue resolved in a week or 2.

only thing samsung is lacking (since s20) is indoor photos of moving objects. They should modify the shutter speed like the pixel when detecting a moving object. Beside that, best android phone in the market.

5:46 Remember that Samsungs face scan is still only 2D as where the iPhone is 3D or even 4D if they call it that. So Samsung can only face unlock your phone if there is enough brightness around, the iPhone can face unlock even in the dark. But I'm sure that maybe with the S26U they will give it 3D/4D face unlock. Speed isn't everything.

Does the screen have microscratches? The antiglare screen protector just sucks, leaving me no choice but to go without protection or buy a reflective protector

Man, I made a huge mistake buying the S24 Ultra. The Android Auto app is all messed up and it's driving me nuts as an Uber driver. I'm throwing in the towel and going back to my Note 20 5G. Samsung really dropped the ball on this one.

First, I only write these kind of comments when the creator really deserves hearing it, so here we go ... Have to commend you for making this video, cause it was very, very well made! That intro...just superb👍🤘👍! And the same can be said about the rest of the video as well. Content, filming, sound, the presentation++ was really good. Really deserve 👍! Personally I do prefer the S24U as my main device. Just sold my iPhone 15pro cause I just can't stand the iOS. Instead I went to the shop with plans of getting the OnePlus 12. However there was a problem that took me by surprise...the curved edges. Have not been a problem with any other devices earlier, but I think that by using the S24U as my main device the last few months, I've grown custom with flat displays. So instead I bought another device that you guys in the US sadly don't seem to have, the Xiaomi 14 Pro. 90w charging, 50w wireless charging and 20w reverse charging, and Everything included in the box. Everything! Love it! Long comment, right?😎 🤘 from Norway 🇧🇻.

As fantastic as the S24 Ultra is, for most of us who have a MacBook, AirPods, Apple Watch, iPad , AirTags, AirDrop, handoff, which work seamlessly, we are sticking with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Samsung / Windows do work with other products but require proprietary apps which are very hit or miss. Samsung has finally made a better phone hardware wise than Apple, but it’s the software that keeps us on iPhone’s.

What about all the reports of WiFi issues on this phone? Samsung forums are full of them.
