@@ICEethruUwow s21 ultra is still a very great phone. I’m sure it served well. Same for the s20s and note 10s. Got an old note 10 that even with ps2 emulation still gets pretty decent battery life. My old pixel xl… let’s just say pixels will never have quality batteries put in them good chip or not. Only consistent batteries so far from my experience and lasting a few years at least is Samsung, iPhone and Motorola.

Thanks for the more grounded and comedic take on unboxing the phone, really enjoyed the content. Your final thoughts on the phone has gotten me really conflicted. Where I live I could pick up a used s23 ultra 512gb in pretty much new condition at around 830USD or I could pay an extra 400 USD more for a brand new 24 ultra with the same amount of storage. I'm upgrading from an s20fe so I feel like even if the upgrades on the 24 ultra are incremental, I can see an angle where just paying the extra for a brand new phone that I see myself using for at least 4-5 years is worth it. What would you recommend?

S24 Ultra is indeed a small refresh from the S23 Ultra, but the S24 Ultra is getting 7 years of updates and 7 OS updates compared to only 4 on the S23 Ultra. I love your videos!

I am thinking of getting this - but just adding a line to my current carrier. How do KZfaq reviewers do it with so many phones to test? I know they just swapped physical SIM cards before. But now they eSIM has been introduced, does that mean we have to add a line with a different phone number ?

You can transfer your eSIM back and forth between devices. Although with iPhone and Android you'll have to get another QR Code generated.

Dear Note 9 we have been together for almost five years & you been good to me. We traveled around the world multiple times. We close many deals together and because of you I was able to stay in contact with many new friends and family from around the world. Did many video calls and got closer to people emotionally because of you. You were definitely there when I needed you the most. Time to upgrade to S24 Ultra and i see you will arrive today. I got the 512gb S24 Ultra for 50% off. I say worth it for that price. If my only option was full price I would just stick to either my S21 Ultra or S9+. I had similar first impressions with the phone as well. Btw, great content. Keep it up 🙂

I had my S22 since its release date & I never figured out everything that phone & my Note 10+ had to offer. This S24 Ultra is way smoother or more powerful than my S22 Ultra and, omg, how much brighter can a phone get.. it's a beast of a feature packed phone!

I have the s22 ultra also. I'm waiting for my s24 ultra to be delivered next week. The main thing I want is battery life , my s22 performs very well even almost 2 years later. Hopefully I get double the battery life with the s24.

I like the curved edge too, I've rarely had activated wrongly the edge panel, actually, I think the curved edge makes it easy to bring it up. And that point that it's hard to put a screen protector is laughable 🤣 I've been using my S22 ultra for 2 years, my phone doesn't have any crack or scratches, thanks to gorilla glass and also the s-view case, which gives that small window with info, that otherwise I couldn't take advantage of.

One thing that I like about the backup phone iPhone 13 is the flat screen. Only thing I like tho actually. Lmao. Even today my girl her s23 ultra had signal on this private bus we were on and everyone else had no signal and they had iPhones. They was amazed well sorry android has better antennas 😂 but yeah I’m getting s24 ultra titanium yellow it’s been a nightmare trying out iPhone for this past two years cell signal worse than even my old pixel xl which was the worst ever the best for me has been Samsung and Motorola they have great cell reception. Heard oneplus is also good.

I am a true Samsung knight with the s23 ultra and I'm waiting for the z fold 6 and I hope they follow in Honor Magic V2 porsche, One Plus Open, Xiaomi Mix fold 3 , and Huawei mate x5 footsteps and give it 110 % with the redesign and aspect ratio. Also the z fold 6 will definitely need 5x zoom because Huawei proved it can be done on a foldable. Also, I've had a star wars light saber s pen sound effect on my s23 ultra since day 1 haha hahaha!

Love your reviews man. Even though you're objectively wrong about preferring the curved edges over the flat display (joking (but for real wtf)) you're a great reviewer. Honestly you and Flossy Carter are the best in my book. I like MKBHD and Mrwhosetheboss but they feel like AI, perfectly crafted individuals with almost no humor or human being-ness to them. Speed wise the s23 Samsung keyboard is faster than the s24 Samsung keyboard. When compared to Gboard on the s24 series they're identical but Gboard more accurate in what I'm saying

@@DayoAworunse nice. Yea I'm specifically talking about voice typing. Samsung keyboard has offline voice to text and it's decent, but Gboard with faster voice typing enabled, is next level by a mile. Problem I have is that I live in India and when I have a Indian SIM card in my phone, faster verse typing disappears. So I'm just hoping the Samsung can step up their game. It doesn't look like they did.

coming from a Note 10, i was so excited to start using the phone only to be EXTREMEMLY disappointed by the dull and washed colors of the S24 Ultra screen. Today i showed 2 people that dont really care about tech and they immediately noticed. As petty as it may sound, I'm contemplating returning this phone if a fix or something doesn't come out soon. Since my note 10 still works perfectly fine and colors look (in my opinion) better, this upgrade may not be for me after all.

There is a software bug on the s24 ultra which forces the phone to be on natural color mode all the time, this will be fixed on the next update

Noo... even from s23! The s24 has waaayyy more that I we didn't know .. so stabilizer in the camera to lock on pictures or video.. and a real zoom camera inside like a real camera! And more
