With the Latest Origin OS 4 update, Vivo X100 series got 4k 60fps front camera video recording capability with excellent stabilization. Also now you are able to switch front and rear cameras while recording (till 4k30fps) just like Samsung. + The rear camera also shoots more detailed images compared to the last version.

Some people say Origins OS is better, battery life is a bit longer on chinese version. They also care about domestic market and put some efforts into the updates. Follow the guide from tradingshenzhen to set up and remove those unwanted things. Most of the things work if it's not chinese carrier locked (all the bands available, but LTE 20) except for Android Auto.

Vivo's X100 Pro, the IQOO 12 and the Oneplus 12 are currently imo on their way to be the best phones of the year. More money gets you 2-5% better at best and only in certain situations. These three are classy all rounders. Samsung and Google better watch out. Additionally, I feel like BBK's brands have been fighting amongst each other with their killer value now lmao like the X100 Pro is so good the Find X7 Ultra doesn't seem that worth it and neither would the X100 Pro+ I believe. The jump from the X90 Pro to the X100 Pro was staggering and a really delightful surprise from Vivo considering the main flagship is gonna be China only. I really hope these phones put downwards pressure on greedy bozos like Samsung and Google with their quirky and in the future a paid service, AI features.

@@kaiserfakinaway5909 yep, I have been a samsung fanboy for a couple of years....now turned to Vivo because my s22 after recent update caused a pink line to appear ..on reaching service center they said I dropped the phone and that's how line appeared .. they put blame on me.....(I always had a rugged case and never dropped the phone....quick search on the internet will give u the answer... Samsung released faulty display and after updates pink lines appear due to surge voltage) anyway they put the blame on me and wanted me to pay extra for repairs .. I sold the phone just after visiting service center and I promised myself never to buy sht samsung again .... Bought vivo x100 pro and I have to say the camera hardware is awesome....bought it at less price of my s22 which I bought on 2022 due to some offers ....anyway I am happy with vivo and can recommend anyone this phone.....only some minor os nuances are there compared to one UI ...rest everything is fine

Based on this video, I agree that the Vivo camera is better overall than Samsung in the showed scenarios, but keep in mind that you are paying the extra money for the Galaxy S24 Ultra for more than just the camera, it's the S-Pen and its features, the AI capabilities, the anti-reflective screen, the better noise canceling, 7 years of features and security updates ...

En actualizaciones de edad en los tres puntitos en la parte superior y te salen dos opciones la segunda opción te dice que si quieres actualizar una nueva versión. Le das actualización de prueba y después de actualizar ya la cámara selfie puede grabar en 4k. Mejoró mucho la calidad de la imagen, la estabilidad y rango dinámico. yes! If my phone were more than 2 years older I'd have gotten it too, but my S22U seems to have a bit more life in it. Besides, I'm thinking of moving away from flagships and onto something like the Oneplus 12. Flagships are way too overrated imo but the X100 Pro is one hidden gem. A wake up call for Samsung and Google

I find Samsung and Apple still have some software refinements I'd like to see in these other brands. But for the most part I'm happy with great cameras, decent screen, good sound/recording. Still, waiting for something to replace my Find x2 Pro lol. Problem is that it will be the price of a new phone as now these brands seem to sell less in my country @@Techtablets

Now I can safely say that I have the world's best camera phone. Watching on my X100 Pro, using since last one week & I am in love with it's camera ❤, I don't need a DSLR anymore. DXOMark should accept less money from Apple and Google and unhesitatingly put Vivo X100 Pro on the top of the table.

Thanks for this review. Overall, vivo takes the win for me, Samsung 2nd and Oppo in a close 3rd. Some vivo shots like the macro flower really seem DSLR level.

I miss Auckland. Always sunny there at this time of the year. Great video. I am eagerly awaiting my Find X7 Ultra unit. This seems to be a beast of a phone. Btw. my chinese Vivo X100 Pro now got 4k up to 60fps on the front facing camera via trial update and even has EIS. I suspect its upscaling from 3k as this is what the sensor can do at max. But quality looks fine on first glance.

Vivo still the king for me. Its on a different level when taking extra lowlight video in 3:06, its brighter, sharper, and less noise, but maybe u need boost the pink tint to make the white balance better. Also zooming photos still the best for me, sharper in most conditions, idk man samsung has made this trend long before vivo in s20 ultra, but getting beat by its own game is awkward... There is a problem in oppo find x7 ultra, like old china smartphone algorithms that it smoothens the skin texture too much, also the video tends to overexposed in most conditions

Using Vivo x100 Pro for a week now. Few of my friends just picked up s24 Ultra and few iPhone 15 mostly for the quality Marketing. Honestly *X100 pro is going to be the Best camera of 2024. I mean it has its issues, Bloat wear, pinch of heat due to its performance based processor. when you are Talking about camera... Boy, If there is one Phone company which would make DSLR obsolete very soon... it should be the X series from Vivo.

notes, Gamespace, easyshare, iManager, V-Appstore these are technically bloat wear, software's which cannot be deleted. Although it gets warmer than my previous Phone OnePlus. Even mine does not Heat up however I have read reviews of the same. Its just one week of using and I would not be surprise when it happens. @@blacsheep19

god that telephoto for macro on the Vivo is just INSANE. Definitely gonna pick this up, macro photography is my favourite style of photography. Wish the s24U had the floating lens tech! maybe the s25U will who knows! Love all the shots from the Vivo though, doesn't seem to over sharpen and love the colour science. Huh? You can't see the cables on the other shots because they aren't in the pic. Vivo is the only shot that catches most of the boat. The other pics cuts out the back portion of the boat where the cables are.

this comparison isnt even close, Vivo blows them both away tbh, even in some of these categories like stabilization where you gave it to Oppo?? (when you said that, Oppo's footage was rattling AF while few seconds later on the beach moving the footage to the side Samsung was jittery. Vivo wins at least in the examples you showed Front facing camera, Samsung takes it, even with 1080p I thought Vivo did great with HDR and color balance, Oppo overexposed Tbh it looks like Vivo is just a monster

Great comparison! Kind of bums me out regarding Samsung's lacking in the macrophotography department. I'm always taking macro pictures in my garden of flowers and I've always felt like the still photos that came out of my old mate 20X are better than either of my newer Samsung phones. There's not much of a chance of me getting a new Huawei phone anytime soon here in Kansas USA so I was hoping with that new high megapixel telescopic lens they would up their tele-macro game this year. Hopefully they will get some updates to make good use of the new hardware.

Heads up - The Vivo X100 Ultra has a trial software update (beta update) available to the Chinese version that can do 4k @ 30 and 60 frames for the front camera, along with a bunch of other camera improvements. They were released yesterday just after your video went live.

S24 Ultra cons: No Multi User feature! No AppLock! Hide apps feature is not password protected! No super fast charging technology like their Chinese counterparts! No charger in the box! No 10X optical zoom lens anymore! Not the best in terms of ZOOM quality anymore! No IR Blaster! Higher price than it was ever before! Samsung what are you doing?!! Wake up Samsung!

You should try portrait shots with the zoom camera instead. Vivos 4.3x telephoto is a 100mm macro lens. It is optimized for portraits and macro photography as well. The main camera in all phones is a 23-26mm wide lens so it is not recommended for portrait as it distorts the picture showing people in wrong proportions. Great review by the way. Cant wait what the Vivo X100 pro plus will bring in a few months

The Oppo Find X7 Ultra is clearly the weakest here. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is the best, although there are situations when the Vivo X100 Pro is better. I think in most situations the Samsung has the best white balance, the best color rendering, contrast, and shadow enhancement. The S24U has the best image stabilizer for sure, especially with zoom cameras. Furthermore, the S24U has the best dynamic capture, the detail retention of the bright parts, which is clearly visible between 4 minutes 44 seconds and 5 minutes 24 seconds, in the upper part of the tower, which is well illuminated by the sun and reflects on it. It's surprising how bad Oppo's image stabilization is, and it's also very poor in many others, a software fix would be great. It is not visible here, but the X100P shows a reddish or orange discoloration in certain situations.

I would also give vivo the portrsit shot win due to the sheer versatility kt offers, and i feel that most indian like a biy of skin smoothing so thats a benefit for me. The blur styles offered by vivo and the different focal lengths i all gind suoer appealong on it.

Excellent review. Goob job, mate 👍 It is what I'm was looking for as it is my 3 prefered phone brands (I currently use Oppo X6 Pro and Vivo X100 Pro) The Vivo X100 Pro is impressive. I'm a bit disappointed by the X7 Ultra which seems to have not much progressed comparing to the X6 Pro. The S24 Ultra photos look better than the S23 Ultra, but it can not take the lead. Oppo and Vivo are solid comeptitors 😁

I like shots from all of them and all very good but the vivo looks the most detailed more often, has very good natural colors and seems to handle zoom and macro the best and possibly night photos, which are 3 of my favorite types of photography

Well Samsung forgot to upgrade their cameras implementing AI, but Vivo certainly did not. Especially with that very much clean & noise free night photos and videos. Excellent job vivo. You overtook Samsung this year in camera department imo.

Interesting that the Oppo shakes a lot in zoom because Oppo had to remove some of the magnets from the OIS of the periscope to prevent them from interfering with the other magnets in the other cameras.

I think when Samsung jumped on the Mpix bandwagon they lost. Like all their 108Mpix and 200Mpix camera phones are average to poor compared to ~50Mpix camera phones. Even compared to older models. For the most part, Samsungs produce good photos during normal photography, and what the sensor lacks, the sw catches up with, but as soon as there is a little less light, it's miserable. A lot of noise, missing details, etc. I am quite surprised that most of the test is only outside in sunlight, when almost all mobile phones today produce decent photos. But it will be interesting in a room where there are places with less light, shadows and seeing various details, as which phone can capture them.

Vivo is a clear winner. Always more true to life colours and better processing in my eyes. Was hoping OPPO wouldn't look so artificial and saturated. Samsung is known for that so no surprise there.

Watched this a few times now. i use the S22 Ultra at the moment mainly for the 10x Zoom capabilities. Was set on the S24 Ultra but disappointed in the device. For the camera only and Zoom photography would you still pick the Vivo X100 pro over the Oppo Find X7? Thanks

Oppo's photos seem surprisingly poor here compared to what I saw from gizmochina. I think there's 2 reasons, 1.) It needs updates, they messed up a lot of stuff compared to even the Find X6 Pro 2.) They don't fare particularly well with white/caucasian people in portraits but this point is rendered moot by the Find X6 Pro's portraits. We just have to wait and see I guess but until then wow, the Vivo is back to kicking everyone's ass!

Smartphone cameras are becoming something else. I think Samsung does rather well considering they decided to stick with similar hardware this year instead of what other companies are trying. Makes me excited to see what Samsung decides to do with their Ultra next year. For the time being, happy with the S24 Ultra for the year.

Good video. Was looking to get the S24 Ultra but wasn’t blown away by the reviews I’ve seen. Zoom photography is key for me. Currently I have an S22 Ultra and use the 10x zoom a lot. Good conclusion man. Samsung selfie the best. Overall daytime good detail and contrast skin, but other sky, water oversaturated. Oppo terrible stabilization. Lack detail zoom, and trash contrast, but colors its "fine", on the vivo overall the best in my opinion. Best zoom, verry good stabilization, verry natural sky, water, but front facing camera Samsung its the next high end lvl of quality. I hope Samsung fix this shit next updates, night photo purple smearing, but i think dont see this when i switch to 50mpx at night with my s23u, and fix trash most time oversarurated sky, water, and other parts.❤ Overall great comparsion. Sorry for my english bro 😅
