Identical in 99 % of times ( photo and video) . Except for the range zoom 5x to 10x only in low light the s24U its better . And the long zoom, up to 20x the S23U still better. Good job bro excelent video!!

Alexy, great video. As a S23 Ultra owner, I see no reason to upgrade. Yes the S24 Ultra has some slight changes, but not enough. It would be like buying the same phone twice! The one change that Samsung need to do, is improve the 3x camera to a larger sensor with 20mp. If I could choose a lens combo, keep the Ultra Wide and Wide angle lens sensor as the S23/S24 Ultra, 20/50mp 3x telephoto, then 12mp 10x telephoto. I will always say this - the 10mp 3x telephoto is hardly adding anything to party!

Thanks for the video, your comparison was REALLY detailed. I really prefer the S23U's style in zoom, and also the colour in most shots... but then, in your night mode comparison, the S24U was significantly improved. I'm not closer to making a decision but am much more informed!

First of all, congratulations on a job well done! Question: Do you disable "automatic lens shift" in the camera assistant? Opinion: I found the S24 Ultra to be better in some ways, but worse in others... in general I still like the S23 Ultra better and I don't see any great evolution in cameras in the S24 series... even some downgrades, which makes me upset once again with Samsung... although, let's face it: the S23 Ultra was a phenomenon.

Much less sharpening in the S24 Ultra. This is something I truly appreciate since this is one of the reasons I sold my S23 Ultra. I hated that over sharpening, making foliage and edges glow horribly. I feel the S24 Ultra has fixed this problem finally. Yes, the image might be perceived as having less detail but it's the same thing as cranking up the sharpness on your TV and thinking it's okay.

They're basically the same 99.9% of the time. Only real difference I saw was the 5x zoom cam at night seems to be doing better, specially with night mode turned on. The 10x optical is also a bit better with long range zoom, specially at the day, but that was already expected. The real standout for me was how good the digital zoom was on the 3x optical on the S23 Ultra between 3-10x, they improved this camera a lot, sometimes I couldn't tell the difference between the 5x digital crop on the S23 Ultra and the 5x optical on the S24 Ultra.

Great video as always bro 😉 ❤ I think the s23 ultra is the better choice taking all the facts into consideration, Samsung messed up with this year s24 ultra in some areas but made good stuff in some other areas like the flat screen display and anti reflections . Next year with this s25 ultra they should take the good stuff from the s24 ultra and build on them For me i wish they bring back sd card support they make ×5 and ×10camera and the main sensor should be a 1inch sensor , that would be a killer move ! But i m sure they won t make that specially the SD card support 😞

@@Soto-Tech2020 Hello! I went to a Samsung's store nearby and compared both S23 and S24 Ultra's cameras. In fact, just the S24 Ultra switch between camera lenses at 4K 60fps, while the S23 Ultra uses zoom with a fixed lens. So much so that if you start recording at 1x on the S23 Ultra and zoom in (using main camera), the maximum for it in this mode is 10x, while the maximum for the S24 Ultra is 25x. I can be I'm wrong, but that's what I noticed.

So last year you wasn’t impressed with s23u camera and in many or most situations preferred s22u or even s21u over s23 in comparisons . This year you are not impressed with s24u and prefer s23u, so is Samsung camera going down hill??

Me preferring the S23 Ultra over the S24 Ultra doesn't mean that I'm super impressed by it either. This comparison is between these 2. I still prefer the S22 Ultra results for the most part but it's all a matter of personal preferences and it doesn't really mean it's actually the best. I do think that Samsung did mess up with the S24 Ultra this time a little bit and it might need a further update though it might have reached its limits. Thanks for watching the video and stay safe.

La verdad siento que Samsung perdio parte de su personalidad con el s24U al parecerse a los iPhone en el procesamiento de fotos y ponerle una pantalla totalmente plana paraece un tabique . I have to say, the S23 Ultra looks just as good, if not better in nearly every scenario besides the night mode low light photos and the rear camera portrait video where the blur doesn't look as natural as the S24 Ultra. Can you compare vs S10 5G?

Software updates destroy smartphones and battery life and can't properly fix what was already done by relevant company! About 70% photos shot by S23 Ultra have a little bit more depth than S24 Ultra 😂. S24 Ultra does have some things better: - front cam is better in all comparisons. - better stabilization especially when zooming. - Video recording seems a bit better with daylight. - There is huge difference between day and night modes whereas S23 Ultra seems to always turn on the night mode already 😂. Especially the night mode at 1x is always better (but zooming in becomes a bit worse than or the same as S23 Ultra). I think it's worth to buy S24 Ultra if you don't have a S23 Ultra, there are more things to wait for on S24 Ultra and Camera is not the only thing you need in a phone especially when the quality is not much different between the two.

S24U shots may be better in terms of quality, idk but S23U shots look more eye pleasing to me. Maybe because I like bright and vibrant photos.

The S24 ultra seems to have a strange blurring issue. I think s23 ultra is better. I think the only part where the S24 ultra is good is its front camera.

In this weather conditions outdoors photos looks very similar. I can see bigger difference on a sunny day, then s23u is too bright and a bit oversaturated. Also for my personal use 5x optical is much better for landscape shots, if i will use 5x digital on s23u is just a mushy mess, cant see any detail on grass or trees.

@@Soto-Tech2020 thats my observation from having both phones. Also you can see that in other youtubers camera comparisons, s23u is more saturated, oversharpen and brighter with less contrast, x3 in landscapes nature shots is falling apart due to small sensor. THOSE ARE FACTS not personal opinions.

@@lucaspanasski331 Well, having both phones and having taken pics on sunny days with both and having seen other camera comparisons on sunny days recently it looks more like those are YOUR FACTS rather than reality and that's fine with me. The S23 Ultra can look slightly brighter (not a lot) because it's usually less contrasty which a lot of people like me prefer. If you are happier with the results from the S24 Ultra so be it. S24U dominates 10x in lowlight. I had no idea. That sensor even with 5x digital zoom compensation fares better results in low light than 10x zoom sensor on S23U

As you mentioned, the S24 Ultra can be better only in specific circumstances and only when using nitgh mode. That's the reason why Samsung should have improved the 10x optical zoom even more not go back to 5X optical zoom. Anyway, thanks for watching the video and sharing your opinion. Stay safe.

I honestly like the design of the S23 Ultra more than the 24 Ultra and the zoom lens on the 24 Ultra cannot keep up with that 10x periscope beyond 10x. They should’ve just worked on making the 10x periscope a brighter aperture instead. Great comparison sir.

S23 Ultra is better and clearer than S24 Ultra in everything except portraiture Images appear clearer and more detailed Pictures of S24ultra It appears somewhat blurry and obscures the details of the images
