I just want to say thank you. I have been trying over a year and I just gave up on it. However, my 5 year old great Granddaughter Ava was on her iPad yesterday making a phone call talking to her mother. I was shocked. I knew then I needed to go to you tube and try one more time and guess what? I got it, I can now make phone call and text messages on my galaxy S6 tablet. So again thank you and you tube. I couldn't have done it without you with your step by step easy to understand your instructions Robbin

Have you tried the same with Samsung Flow? Curious since I have AT&T (not switching with 50% discount) and it doesn't work with them or Verizon?

Don't purchase for the call and text feature from the tablet. Check your phone to see if you have the options "call and text from other devices". I think it depends on your carrier. My Galaxy S10 (Verizon)does not allow this feature.

Does the tablet have to be a LTE or wifi tablet. Been on the phone with Verizon and Samsung over an hour cannot get the phone call feature work on a wifi tablet version.

I've been using this cool feature for awhile now however there is one thing that I do not like....If you are using your tablet to read and send text messages and then use your phone at a later time it still shows that you have active (new) messages sent or received (as if you never read or sent them)... same thing but in reverse.. If you are using your phone to read and send text messages and then go to your tablet they are showing as NEW messages (AS IF YOU NEVER READ THEM)… In other words both devices don't sync each other...

Did you get it to work I'm being told can't create account with Google your account can't be created because the name used in your Google account contains non-english characters so it's not letting me sign in with Google which it looks like that's the an option for people who don't have a Samsung phone and I don't know why it's saying I'm using non-english characters because I am using all English

If I find a solution I will let you know but did you try that Google option like it gives you the option to set up with a Samsung account or a Google account. It looks like we can use the google account associated with our phone. I had 2 options.

Great information if you have a Samsung tablet and a Samsung smartphone. What's the solution for the same connectivity between Samsung and non-Samsung devices? I have a non-LTE Tab S6 and a Google Pixel 3a. My impression is that although these are two Android 10 devices, there's no built-in ability to link the two so I can receive and make calls on my tab via a connection to my Pixel 3a, which I find incredulous. I assume I need to make use of some app from the Google App store so does anyone have a recommendation?

Who's your carrier? Verizon has disabled this from their devices in a ploy to force people to use their messages+ app. Other carriers have done this as well. I have Verizon and dont have that option on my device.

Call and messaging continuity will NOT work if you are using ATT or Verizon. Not yet anyway. And, I believe only the LTE version will be capable. I also don't think CMC capability is even updated on the phones using either of those carriers.

It appears to be a problem with the tablet, not the carrier. I can use my older S2 tablet and it connects to the phone just fine for calls, but not my Tab S4 or Tab S6.
