Edit: after watching you with both stainless steel on, I think the 42mm with the strap looks more feminine and maybe that's also why it's shinier than the 46mm. And I wish u still swapped the bands on each since I have the same wrist size as you it would've given me a better idea 💡 .... 46mm looks better on you and I think on guys general!!! I am female and bought the 42mm with a malenese watch strap and actually looks just like yours, but I don't know if I'm feeling it. I kinda wanna replace it for a true stainless steel strap like on your 46mm but I'm thinking that might look too manly for me. 😒 right now I'm just wearing it with a 3rd party silicone straps.

I actually think the 46mm looks better on you despite you're 6inch wrist, I think the 42mm looks too small, or it may just be because of that band colour blending in with the watch, Samsung should have given us a 44mm option with the classic.

Great video. I too would have preferred a 44mm. My local best buy only has one size (Classic) so decision on 42 v 46 will be rough. My wrist is close to a 7 inch.

Chose the 42 mm over the 46 mm. It just looked better. A full battery charge lasts about 1.75 days after adjusting display brightness. I prefer the black watch face with the silver. That very closely resembles my Citizen Eco-Drive Titanium watch. With the stainless steel wristband (the same one you have on the 46 mm watch) it fits perfectly and also looks a lot like the one on the Eco-Drive.

Love the way the 42mm looks on your wrist, especially with the mesh silver band, and the brushed silver band was a perfect match for the 46mm….looked really good, too….but I think the 42mm was the best look for your wrist. I’m jealous now….

I think the 42 looks better on his wrist. I got the 42mm for that reason. All the watches I have owned before getting a Galaxy Watch were smaller than even the smaller version, and I've just never been comfortable wearing a huge watch. It would be nice to have longer battery, but I charge mine every morning while I'm getting showered and dressed anyway, and it's always fully charged before I do anything for the day. I find mine only gets down to about 50% after about 24 hours of wear, so I could probably wear it for a couple of days, but since I don't the extra life on the 46mm would almost never matter. EDIT: After getting the 42mm Galaxy Watch 4 Classic I found the battery life completely unacceptable. I was lucky if it lasted 20 hours. I'm OK with charging it daily, but don't want a watch that needs charging multiple times a day. I returned it, but still found the 46mm classic too big on my wrist. As a result I got the 44mm Galaxy Watch 4, not the classic. I miss the rotating bezel and stainless steel, but everything else is exactly the same on it, the battery lasts at least 30 hours, and the 46mm classic was just too large.

I have scrawny wrists and was also considering the 42mm but wanted the bigger battery size. I am extreme,y glad to say the design of the Watch makes it feel look much better than previous “big” watches have looked. I think the 46mm is actually a little thinner than the 42mm (could be wrong about that) but it wears and looks fine! I was rocking a TicWatch Pro 2020 right before I got my Galaxy 4 Classic and it is far bulkier tho when I read the measurements it seemed like theyd be about the same if not a bit bigger for the G4 - its not at all! Beautiful watch, my favorite ever, then again I had always fantasized about a Samsung rotating bezel watch running Wear OS since the S2 Classic! Now if they’d just hurry up with Google Assistant…guessing they had to re-code parts of it to work with the Samsung apps?

I think the 42mm fits your wrist better. I own the galaxy watch 4 silver which is a 44mm, inown the black 46mm classic, I think I'm going to grab the 42 silver classic as well. Will go nice with my phantom white s22 ultra. Great video. Thanks for the watch band suggestion as well

42mm looks best on you honestly , but I understand about the battery situation.... I have the 42mm classic now and a little disappointed about the battery life. I'm not getting the estimated 40 hours, that's for damn sure. My wrist is just under 7 inches and I'm female, so I am afraid the 46mm would look too big on me. I've been debating whether to return and go for either the 46mm classic or 44mm regular watch 4 to get the bigger battery ? . I'm coming from an Amazfit GTS 2 which is aluminum so this stainless steel feels Heavy... to me. Not sure I can sleep comfortably with heavy watch on LOL. You are correct that the 42mm stainless steel is more polished and shiny and the 46mm is a Brushed stainless steel. I agree with the you, the silver on 42mm looks badass. I put a black leather band on it and it looks amazing. Decisions, decisions... Can you run a real life battery test between the two watches to help yourself, me and anyone else trying to decide which way to go? Please? 😉 I have heard a couple of reviewers say the battery life is going to be about the same on both watches, but I don't know WTH information they're basing that on. Doesn't sound like they really did a real life battery test.? You can be the first bro, help us out, if you don't mind? Thanks for your honest review.

Nahh, you better keep the 42, despite the battery, appearance is key. Especially since you got a small wrist. With the 46mm It'd look weird on your wrist.

I have a pretty active job in construction so it's easy to bang my wrists on things. because of this the larger watches get damaged easier and more frequently, so I opted for the 42, and so o far it's the only watch I haven't broken yet.

I really love that 46 is all brushed. Makes it looks sporty with rubber straps but look classy with stainless steel one. If it were polished then it won't look right with rubber or fabric type straps.

Yes, I just went to the shops, they only had the 42mm in silver, and I thought it looked bad, kinda cheap. Was almost getting the black, but I'm glad to see the 46mm is kind of matte, exactly what I wanted.

Just the video I was looking for! I got a watch 4 40mm for free back in February when I pre ordered my S22+ and I love it but I really want the rotating bezel now, so decided to treat myself to the classic as an early bday present. I have small wrists and didn't know if the 46 mm would be too big, but seeing this really helped and I love the finish of the 42mm. It's only $299 right now on Samsung's website, so it's a go for the 42 mm. Thanks for the help. You rock 🙌🏾

I got the 42mm classic in black and got the same magnetic band you have except in black XD. I would've gotten silver but the store was out of silver, but black is pretty nice too, can't complain haha. I just wish I could use my own music for custom ringtones like the 3 could. Hopefully Samsung will let us do that in a future update

To me, the polished silver all over on the chunky 42 watch face casing looks chintzy/cheap. The two-tone look of the shiny silver bezel with the satin/brushed silver finish of the rest of the watch face casing on the 46, looks much more premium and nicer.

Very informative & well done channel. But can you keep the next watch or product still for 2 seconds when you show a feature or difference? It's very hard to find a place to pause for a screen shot or better look, when the watch is bouncing all over the place.

Thanks for the comparison. Both look good on your wrist. You cannot go wrong with either one. I got 6.75" wrist size and have 46mm GW. I'm upgrading to 46mm GW4.

Both look great. 42mm looks slightly better for your wrist size but only very marginally. Not worth giving up the battery size. 46mm still looks amazing.

@@laupoke it uses a bit more battery but not nearly to the extent to the battery size difference between the smaller and larger models. 44 and 46mm variations get much better battery. I'm getting about 2 days of use on my 46mm classic.

Given it's a smart watch, You must consider the display, touch screen. 42mm has 1.19 inch while the 46mm has 1.36 inch, the bracelets had customized and the watch face too, it would be better to get the 46mm with a half longer battery life than the 42mm. Regardless the size on your wrist but on your case that loves to modify the watch face and the functionality of the smart watch, In my honest opinion, I would go to the 46mm =) but if it was a basic watch, I would go for 42mm.

I got the wrong one. Wish I saw that earlier. My wrists are slim, and 46 classic looks like a got a teleportation device instead lmao. Even with different strap, I still think I should go for 42. Good that I can replace it.

really appreciate this video man, exactly what i was looking for before purchasing one. Think ill go with the 46 mm even though i have small wrists, i kind of like the brushed silver on the larger one. Dope vid though man thanks!

I got the 46mm and I got it in stainless black and it looks great, now I'm just looking for a new band for it since I don't like the band that came with it

I got the 46mm Classic. The brushed finished I like better. It looks more business-like, IMHO. I waited for a long time, but I am glad I did. I don't care for the Watch 5 that doesn't have a bezel. Samsung downgraded, it seems on the Watch 5. So far, I'm very happy with my Watch 4 Classic. Lovin' it!!!

They both look good, the larger looks epic like boom.. that’s an expensive watch.. the smaller is more sleek business suit style.. but I have to say being an Apple Watch user… Samsung have it down for making those watches look like an authentic watch.. I had no idea those faces could look so good.. The black with silver hands is on point for the real watch look.. real watches be worried LOL 🤣. I also have a basic Swatch watch with a classic look and I love it.. Which is something my Apple Watch can’t do… Apple look more futuristic but sometimes I like the authentic watch look.. Kudos to Samsung on that design.. I think Apple should offer different versions authentic as well as the current watch design for a better choice..

Please, ( abot Classic 4 model, of course ) I want to ask to just one question - to check main difffrence beetwen LTE and bluetooth : - with bluetooth version I must get phone with me always ; - with LTE I dont must have a phone with me ( for all notifications, calls etc...
