Thanks man! I'm from Canada and can confirm the ECG and BP monitoring now works! However, for BP monitoring, it requires calibration so I still need to borrow an actual BP checking device before I can use it. But that's another story.

@@Brett.284 for me, yes. It's my daily watch now except when I'm doing rough activities. For that I keep my Pathfinder Titanium as that thing can survive anything.

Hi from XDA 😁, Love the video and I'm actually excited to say I HAVE THE SAME MAP MAT LOL 😆 (i really got hyped about it, don't know why) And finally, the BP sync is working now, no need for installing anything, simple as downloading file and setting the set features to allow the sync... Hi I live in India..I will be receiving GW4 LTE watch from one of my friend in Canada...will I be able to use ECG & BP monitor in India?...and will LTE watch bought from Canada will be working fine in India(LTE)?...on Amazon it was written Canadian version and warranty

Hey @Techworks, great vid! I am also here in Canada and at 5:15 in your vid I notice the setting shows as debug over wifi unavailalbe. I can't get past that, can't enable or disable my wifi, it's greyed out. I notice the video cuts there and you then have a functioning debug over wifi. Are you able to expand on how you got there? Thanks in advance!

probably same issue with me - battery saving was on which disables lots of functions

Make sure wifi is on and connected to a wifi AP. In my case, I just went back one screen and came back into the developer options and the IP was filled in like you see @5:22

Hello, I need help. I'm stuck with the app telling me that it couldn't find any watch. I restarted the watch and cleared cache and reDL the apps. It's still have the same problem.

I'm in Canada. I tried to follow this on a Galaxy Note 9 with Android 10 and One UI version 2.5. I almost immediately hit a brick wall when I tried to set the Developer Options on the phone. The option for USB debugging was there, but there was no option for wi-fi debugging. As a result, I was unable to establish a pairing with my PC and the connection attempt on my PC could not be completed otherwise. 😢

It's wireless debugging not wi-fi.

Quick question, I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic - Wi-Fi version (not LTE) and I was told that if my phone and watch lose Bluetooth connectivity and my watch is still connected to Wi-Fi I would be able to make calls from my watch via my Wi-Fi connection. This feature is not working! I'm very frustrated, is this or is it not a thing?

Yes this does work. I can disable Bluetooth in my phone and still make and receive phone calls over wifi from my watch, as long as both the phone and watch are connected to the SAME wifi SSID AND connection type (5ghz or 2.4ghz)

Hello, is it not possible to copy the Phone Wears OS (77 mb) apk directly to the phone and then run it, or is it mandatory to transfer it via adb?

You can do that if you enable Unknown sources.

Yes. It does! Even during sleep you can have it enabled to check your o2 while sleeping.

Yeah I'll just wait for the update for the blood pressure monitor. This is way too complicated. I'm in the USA I've got everything but the blood pressure I'm good!!

Nice video but it didn't work for me. managed to install apps on phone and watch but says no compatible watch found

Try restarting the watch. If that fails you can try what other have suggested, connect you home internet to a VPN to a country where apps are available like the US or, the UK I think has enabled it, and it should be able to be installed.

Not that I have seen, I have received an update to the watch since without any issue. As for warranty, I cant imagine install software app on your watch would a) cause a warrantable issue or b) not be allowed that they would not warranty it for other reasons.

Yes it is complicated. I will try another suggestion to use a VPN to a supported country like the UK now and it should be available apparently

Samsung pay should already be installed! press and hold the bottom button and it should open it for you!

It will work with other phone with limited features, like blood pressure and ecg will ot work without samsung.

I am sorry man, but your video was very difficult to follow, you have conducted this not taking into consideration non-PC savvy people. For example, how did you transfer the directory to the command prompt, your links are outdated, the files you are using there are not on those links. Not able to this activity based on your video.
