@danabyrd4584 got 43mm but thinking about getting 47mm as it appears the bigger the better and it doesn't look too big for the wrist🤔

Is this a new thhing. I never knew about calibration on the samsung. Does it work only with a certain omron model?

It's been on the earlier versions too but there are restrictions in certain regions so may be why you haven't seen it. The Watch literally works with the samsung health monitor app. You only need to calibrate once in a month with an actual BP monitor after that the Watch will do the measurements independently.

check from the list of supported countries to confirm, I think middle east is included but I guess, they seeking approval for use in most countries so might be coming soon to you if not already available.

Yeah, in almost all aspects but particularly with the rotating bezel on the GW6

If you have the opportunity, please do a test: take a measurement with a tonometer and watch it in a calm state. and after that sit down 30 times and then check again with a tonometer and a watch. Just do not take measurements simultaneously with a tonometer, this is not correct.

A bit better strap attachment system, bigger screen, bigger battery, brighter screen and temperature sensor are some of addition to the Watch 6 over the 4

My blood pressure readings way off compared to class 4 watch the dia reading is correct but the sys reading always higher

How about compared to an actual BP monitor? Bcos the watch is only meant to mirror a proper BP monitor. Omron monitors come highly recommended for correct reading

Cant do blood pressure if your on blood thinners or have any heart issue

@sparker931 it's right in the instructions. I guess it won't give an accurate measurement. Then in my case I have afib so it won't work either. There is a whole list of conditions that won't allow it to work

@jhviews1137 it normally have two tabs one for ECG and the other for Blood pressure. Unless you're in a restricted Region for blood pressure measurement with the watch

@TekweksTV ahh. I'm in the US seems to be restricted then. Any work around?. I will be returning the watch if that feature isn't available to me. Only reason I got it.

Really and I was thinking it was going to be too big hence opted for the smaller 43. It looks so good on the eye so its one of those things where the bigger might be better, I guess.

For calibration, you download Samsung health monitor app, and record three readings from a blood pressure monitor while taking the same measures from the watch. This helps recalibrate the watches reading to mimic the monitors'

What if you put intentionally the wrong numbers in to the watch app .i bet it will always give u the same reading give or take a few numbers.a bp watch should not need u to input any numbers from a real blood pressure monitor.
