You people are you working all for Samsung or what? Flip 5 a better phone than the Razr 40 Ultra? Are you kidding me? Flip 5 external screen have 60Hz while Razr Ultra have 144Hz and can take advantage of high quality games on the external screen. Still this trick is limited and does not give you the full access. The internal Flip 5 screen is poor compared to the external Razr screen while the internal is even much better with 165Hz. You must try to keep promoting the Flip 5

@@JerbatoAs Apple and Samsung users will say, the software is equally as important as the hardware. What good is the hardware if the software is not optimized for it? I was thinking about the Razr+, but I ended up going with the Z Flip5 due to better software and water resistance.

@@Jerbato greeeat, you can go play your games on your 144hz front screen then, i take the 40% more graphical power from the samsung and play games on the main screen, like a normal person would .. samsungs screen is waaay brighter too, don't even get me started on software side btw you have full access if you know how 🤦‍♂

This is by no means an afterthought. You probably are not familiar with Samsung's Good Lock. It has always been about maximum flexibility. If they had decided the full home screen on the cover screen (which I had expected), they would have allowed you to configure the Flip 5 the way it works out-of-the-box now. Samsung probably wanted to keep continuity for the existing customer base which are used to the widgets on Flip 4. You can be sure, it will work also in thenext few years, and I expect to enable the full home screen on the coverscreen.

If true, Samsung assuming their customer base (including myself) would prefer widget continuity over full functionality out of the box would be a miscalculation….especially in the face of stiff competition. BUT that might just be me :-) Like I said, at least there’s a way to get that functionality in the meantime.

From personal experience, I own the Razor plus, it has been a great phone so far. Works flawlessly without any issues. It's super fast, and in my opinion I find the camera very similar to the flip 5.

@@waltervega8730 I think it will be Razr for me. The Samsung way of running apps on the outer screen is awkward, and not very tech in my opinion. I also have a soft spot for the various Motorola twists in the software. And Samsung has started to become Apple boring. I will wait a month or two. If the Google Pixel Fold or the upcoming OnePlus Open arrives in Norway, I will check them out first.

Thats great definitely take your time and probably pricing will come down. Like I mentioned, I'm very happy with My Moto Razr+ It just runs so intuitively, love the simple android stock, with no bloat ware. I have only a limited number of apps that I truly want. I also like that the Razr is thinner and more compact than the Flip, even with the case on. The flip seems more boxy and heavier. The Razr may be thin but by all means, it does not feel cheap at all- very premium, in my opinion. The battery life is also excellent, will go a day and a half with no problem. Hope it stays that way.

Don't hold your breath, they're not going to do that. Like Apple they know what they want to allow the user to be able to do with their phones. And unlike Motorola who's trying to get in the game Samsung Is already the largest player in the game.

This is true. Samsung has opened it up to more regions as of recent. Plus, I believe there are ways to get Goodlock still such as flashing it and/or using a VPN with a global SIM to download it.
