The z fold is far away from replacing note 20 ultra, z fold can't even be compared to note 20 ultra, z fold worst camera, worst battery, worst as phone ( smaller screen) and worst as tablets compared to most 12 inch tablets. I found note 20 ultra more of a balance which gives you perfect phone and big screen for video and if you need tablets or laptops then go get one and buy maybe s3 lol and not spend 2k for z fold

I am a note fan & did have the 20 but this z fold which I got last week is unbelievable,the clarity especially in KZfaq looks like hdtv that's how sharp the picture is & being able to view in a full screen is a great experience

I did the same. Note 20 U to fold 3. The only thing I miss is a big outside screen. But I just flip it open and end up liking the fold screen better

@@electrology i wouldn't trade in an S21U for the Flip3 but you sure have a party trick with that phone. It's your money, your choice anyway. If I have the money, I would have an S21U then buy a Flip3 just to flex and open and close the phone all day lol

Had every note since the original and i love the fold 3. The notes in an outterbox are a pain to pull outta ur pocket. Some people dont like the narrow cover screen but i love. Super easy to pull out quickly to answer a text or phone call. The thickness when fold it makes it easy to hold in my opinion. But whenever u sit down to do scheduling or watch a vid its amazing. No regrets thought id never switch from notws

I had the fold 2 and thought I'd never go back to a slap. Once the honeymoon was over, the outer screen was just too narrow and lack of dust resistance had me choose the note. If there this an ultra version of the fold with better camerasx wider outer screen, and some dust resistance, I'd heavily consider it.

I love the fold and actually find myself using the outer screen more idk why 🤷🏾‍♂️. A little wider would still be nice though for texting. Def not going back to a slab. I can simply do more with my phone now.

I'm moving over to Z fold 3 due to an issue with my note 20 ultra - Samsung do not have parts to fix so offered to replace it with Fold. The one thing I will miss for sure is the camera. Not the quality per se, but the natural micro contrasts you get from the larger sensor. People who use real cameras will understand what I am referring to. Everything on standard phone cameras seem "flatter".

Great review, wish I saw this review before buying it. Bought the Z Fold 3 about 3 weeks ago, upgrading from note 20 ultra, quite a lot of disappointments to be honest, especially with the battery life and charging compared to the Note 20 Ultra; I don't seem to have to ever worry about battery life on the Note20 yet I'm constantly having to keep my eye on the Z Fold 3 battery life and at times I wouldn't even want to open it up for fear of battery consumption. Theres a bunch of programs I use that still needs to be optimised for both the Z Folds screens different aspect ratio, especially the front screen which doesn't seem to have a 'full screen' option. Some regrets but won't be moving back to the Note 20 Ultra as yet..

Nah I don't think they'll be able to pull that off (S pen in hinge😂😂😂😂) They'd rather make it optional because not everyone uses the S pen so they're more comfortable charging those ppl extra for that optional accessory

@@noventay4 That fold spen case is the worst case I've ever used, what a waste of money. It provides zero protection for half the phone and has no way to stay closed. They dropped the ball on that one.

For the amount of money we are spending on phones these days, they need to include a SPen, earbuds or wired buds, case, screen protector and now case to hold the SPen. They can do it, but won't. Lesser valued phones still get perks like that...😥

Note would probably win. The fold 3 drains fast when 5G and wifi locations are enabled. Samsung needs to do a software update to fix it. But ever since i disabled those sertings, battery life is amazing.

I went for another note 20 ultra 512gb storage plus SD card storage that's only reason as all I do is download content which gives me 1tb of storage if I want more I will buy a 1tb SD card the option is there but I love the look of the fold 3 especially for watching content as that's what I do on mine

Upgraded from a note 9. The fold 3 is hands down the best phone I've ever owned. Toss termux/andronix on this for some desktop class software needs and you're golden! GeForce Now is also a must have for gaming needs!

Great video. But if i had to pick, it'll be the Note 20 ultra. It has a Bluetooth spen and a screen which wouldn't dent under my finger nail, it actually has a silo for the spen, much better cameras, charger in the box, sd card support. Ip68 dust and water resistance and cheaper price. I know the fold 3 is a really cool device but its still not durable enough. I think samsung will get there eventually, but idk if killing the note line was the best way to have done it.

I strongly agree, I have a Note 20 ultra and at some point I was seriously considering trading it in for the z fold3, I even went to the store to play with the display unit and I ended up keeping my Note, it's a cool device no doubt but I'll wait for a better feature-packed device in the near future, specifically one that houses a bluetooth s-pen in the chassis, whenever the day comes I'll definitely give it a go but until then ... #TeamGalaxyNote is where is at! ✌😎

Great video. With the exception of the bigger screen I don't see a reason to get rid of my Note 20 Ultra. I think I'll wait for more upgrades for the Fold series. I was close to trading it in but without having expandable memory just about killed it for me. If they just decided to make a new note every paper year I wouldn't be upset.

I've had my fold 3 since launch. I love it. No scratches on the huge screen even with my fold pen. Durability is fine. At work I use the 120 hz outside screen. I get home I have a 120hz tablet. I only wish I could use dex in unfold mode like I do on my tab s5e. I wouldn't go back to a candy bar phone either way.

Great concept but quite not there yet. It's frustrating to use as time went by. Simple is still better. I doubt the fold 3 will age well. Too gimmicky.

@@Twincam808 Thanks for your perspective. I am happy with it still. The outside screen is better than my note 10+. The inside screen is big and is there when I want a big screen that is in my pocket. I do like the pen on the inside screen too. I would like improvement and they will. I waited for the 3rd gen to try it. It's an awesome experience that will get better. I will be getting the 6th gen for sure.

Team fold... However I might go back to the note if they release one next year because some apps you not getting the full screen experience without going into settings changing stuff around. On KZfaq when in portrait it looks like the same size as the note so we need more apps that work with the note right out the box

Great content. So I gather you like the zfold3 over the note20 ultra. Great enjoy. As for me, there's only two ways I would switch from a note to a fold. 1) if and when they stop making the note series and from what I'm hearing from KZfaqrs is that there will be a note22 ultra. 2) when the fold has the s pen built in it. And even if that happens, I still wait for the s series to have the pen built in. But like I said enjoy your new fold3. My note20 ultra is brand new, got it 5 days ago. So I'll be holding on to it for at least 2 to 3 years.

I gave it much thought which to get when my note 10 got broken. I chose the note 20 ultra vs s21 and z fold 3. Only the n20ultra has expandable memory. Even the pixel 6 pro don't have expandable memory. Rocking 1TB on my n20u. Fold 3 is too gimmicky for me. It won't age well.

🤔If and when the S Pen is in the body I will consider the Fold which definitely has an Awesome display. The display is the reason I began with the very first Note 1. At this point I think overall the Note 20 Ultra is a more durable, water/dust/drop resistant, easy to use, access, portable over all work horse for heavy on the go use. I see the future though and I'm sure Samsung will soon blur the line between these two devices.

If the made a Z fold with the price, outer screen size of the note 10+ or 20U with the S-pen integrated into it like the notes, and with the notes cameras then I’d be glad to get a Zfold. Until then I’d be more excited for a Note 22 Ultra than a Zfold 4.

I don’t like the outer screen on Fold 3, feels like a compromise from standard phone, only thing going on for it is the big inner screen. You are always in a dilemma if you should open it or use outer screen. Note 20 is just a perfect device.

I traded my note 9 in for my note 20 ultra. There are some things that I like about the note 9, but ultimately I like the 20 ultra. For work, gaming, etc. I can take a great picture of the Moon with my 20 ultra, can the fold do that. Thanks for this video! Im still watching it.

First of all the large and cumbersome one would be the z43 you can't pop popsocket on it and hold it for long periods of time you got to lose Space by folding it to sit upright or hold it awkwardly for a while or have it weird weight ratio with a couple popsockets then it's even he bigger

I have been using Note series since the launching of Note 3. Now owning the Note 10 Plus. Thought of getting the Note 21, but it seems it wouldn't happen. So, the perfect upgrade for me is to get the Z Fold 3, as it is stylus pen enable just like the Note series. However, I have been using the Note series for most of my office job using the Microsoft Office apps. Sincethe Note seriescame out, I am not usingmy laptop esp when I am on the move. I need to know whether Z Fold 3 is Microsoft Office friendly. Please, can you present on that. You're marvelous bro. Thanks😬💪

Hi Nick, I noticed there is dual messenger in the settings, do these phones come with dual sim? I am a note fan though Nick, my note 10 plus is ultra thin and it feels great in the hand, I don't like using a case it adds bulk to the phone, for a bigger display I use my tab S7 with a keyboard case.

Not traditionally dual sim. It might be dual e-sim (like my old Pixel 4xl). However, dual messenger is likely the One UI feature that I use on my Note 20U as well. It let's you have two accounts on every app on the same phone. For example I have my regular whatsapp but also my business like whatsapp on my Note

I have the exact 20 that you have. Just do we're on the same page, the Fold outer screen does not utilize the pen in any way, correct? I use the pen for texts and replies alot and would like the pen to work on the both. 🤔 I will keep the N20U but would have the Fold on another line. THANK YOU FOR THE AWESOME comparisons...😊

I'm late to the game. I just brought the samsung galaxy z fold 3, three days ago. I absolutely 💯 ❤️ love it. It's an awesome phone. The best phone I ever had any I was an iPhone user for years and I finally switched over to android.

I currently have both of these & so far I have forgotten about my Note 20 ultra, the Z fold is just immaculate!!!! The only cons about the z fold is the low quality of the under screen front camera , but the rear camera makes up for it. Also the screen quality is by Far more impressive, detailed and full of color over the note 20 ultra!!!

Honestly, I think the Z Fold 3 could be even bigger. Right now the front screen is smaller than the Note series phones. I think they'd catch more Note users if the Fold's front screen was at least the same size as a Note...

I'm going to hold on for another 22 I'm not convinced I'm concerned about weight it's very heavy in your pocket and I will miss the zoom. Also there is no dust resistance which is also a major factor if you're outside or go on holiday near a beach I'm still not convinced it's ready for primetime at this price

I tried the fold 3 from the note 10+. I used it for about a week then went back to the note for a day and it felt like a relief. Note is so much lighter, screen felt more natural for all types of content. Nothing is designed for the folds aspect ratios so the extra room is almost never needed (unless multitasking which I never do) and the front screen often cuts things off or overlaps. Also the sides of the note feel nicer in the hand. Overall I'm sadly returning the fold. I really wanted to love it, but just couldn't :/

The s pen is definitely better on the fold 3 , feels more like a real pen ,and I’m a big s pen user , for literally everything, been using notes since the note 3 , absolutely love them

I ve hold both. The smaller z fold is supposed to be narrower to accommodate the thickness, for easier one hand usage.

The main issue with all these bezelless phones is that they dont have 16:9 ratio..While watching content we have to zoom in the video (any subtitled burned video) ,the subtitles cropped out and also many of the detail of content is loss...

If you upgraded to the note 20ultra you would not believe the difference, it’s night and day , the note 20 ultra is the best phone I have ever had , and I also have my fold 3 , I love notes so much , but when you open the fold up , it’s just amazing, when I’m emails it’s like a desktop , looks amazing,

I say get rid of the S line!!! I have noticed you can't scroll capture on the (z fold 3) you can with the note 9. In my opinion the z fold should be able to do the scroll capture but for some reason they left that out. Although I got an update this morning maybe they'll add that feature.

Best comparison video I saw, but I keep loving the Note series; 1)more strong and durable 2)micro SD card (up to 1tera) 3) don't have to pay extra for a case for the pen 4) don't have to BUY a S-pen 5) S-pen inside the phone 6) S-pen 9ms latency on the Note 7) S-pen more Bluetooth functions 8) IP68 water resistance vs splash resistance 9) better cameras 10) paying less money for a better phone(in my opinion) if you compare buying the extras and the S-pen the phone cost more than $2000.00 plus tax! My review Samsung have to keep the Note series and a Fold series for the customers if someone want one of those, don't drop the Note, because for me I chose the Note over the Fold! If your doing a comparison of two foldable phones, then you can compare them, but doing a review on two differently styled phones, where one literally does certain things that the other can't, it's just not really a fair comparison
