The outside display doesn't look like a HUGE step forward but it does look like a solid step forward. It's just enough to feel the difference.

Everyone complains about the ZF6 but things seem to change once they actually get one in their hands. It may only be .1" wider but the bezels are slimmer, which adds more screen

I just played with the Fold 6 at my local Best Buy with my Fold 3. I definitely see the size difference. It's not a huge difference but I really think it's the perfect size for an everyday foldable. It's definitely an upgrade coming from the Fold 3

Got my hands on the new Z Fold 6 earlier. It looks and feels fantastic! The refinement is absolutely on point on every angle. The built feels so robust! Photos and videos won't do justice. You have to check it out! 💯

It's exactly the same phone as the last three years but less ergonomic, which previously was the only thing that made it more appealing than the uncomfortable s24 ultra.

Did the same thing with my Z fold 4 yesterday, and I was blown away that they were able to make the cover screen not only wider (felt pretty significant to me!), but taller as well. All while making the frame smaller! Mine is prepping for delivery today!

Best looking foldable. Period. I want a windows laptop with the exact same design as the Fold 6. I would throw all my money at that.

Yes looks much sleeker and premium, and better screen size. But nothing besides that for an upgrade from Z fold 5. In my country, the cost went up, trade in value is 50% less than market value, the offers and freebies are muh. However, those with Z fold 4 and older will be quite pleased.

I get a chance to see and hold this device in shop. I love it definitely it’s awesome I preserved it with ultra watch and buds pro too . Come in my hand after 3 to 4 days eagerly waiting

I did the same thing the other day, I put the keyboards up side by side and after the 2nd row from the bottom, it's condensed down by one whole row. It was more comfortable to type on which I didn't expect for such a small difference. But I do have my fold and flip 6 both on order.

If you can afford to buy a fold outright(atleast here in the states), it seems after 6 generations its best to upgrade every 2 years to get the most for your buck. Unless you need a new phone every year. The depreciation and the samsung shop trade in deals make the 2 year cycle the best. Also, i recommend to just get samsung care and use your phone naked, its the way to go.

Hey Greg, this should show you going forward, try not to be as pessimistic leading up to it. A lot of the "wish it hads" and "still the sames" type of mentality lead a lot of followers to immediately have that negative connotation to the product before even seeing or feeling it. A lot of folks decided it wasn't even worth the upgrade straight off of information that wasn't 100% accurate. Now that it's "released", here we are with a notion almost completely opposite of the lead up, and now it's amazing....speculation is cool, as long as it's lead in the right direction. I know you can't control what people think at the end of the day, but the influence is real. I knew this was going to be a great phone, because I had it since the 3, and the improvements over the years tho minor, were still great improvements. Now based on their history and the release of the F6, a more optimistic approach going forward would be a nice effort. I bet the F7 will be even better, even if incremental.

I do like the square design but a slightly wider outer screen still bothers me. I'll wait for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

It looks perfect, by far the best looking Fold yet. But there isn't enough improvement since Fold3 for me to drop money on it. Maybe once they incorporate the S series camera quality then.

yeah i have to admit i went to BB to see it also and i have to say i really like it, i was impressed! i think the people who are knocking it haven't even held it or used it or they're apple fan boys. And people forget that the software is truly optimized for the fold. And yes it felt really premium!

I've pre ordered.. moving into my first foldable... the small display screen is a bone of contention for me, but I'm making the leap as I love the phone when it's opened up.. hopefully not made the wrong decision.. time will tell....

The Fold 6 looks really nice. I can can absolutely see the differences you spoke of. Since I have the 5, I'm gonna hold out for the 7 when hopefully, we'll get an internal S-Pen

Seeing them both side by side you can see the difference and the fold 6 does look good I amd just disappointed that they never made wider to have a bigger outer and inner display to compete with other foldable devices

Reason I stayed away from the 23 ultra was so I don't have to hold the sharp edges. The fold 5 is the perfect fit in hand.

When it's folded, the corner edges look better but I'm not sure they're as practical. I think the rounded edges probably feel better in the end and are better in the pocket, but especially in the unfolded conformation I think rounded edges are better and that's why the Fold has had them up until this year. I had the Fold 4 but sold it. I really really love the concept but there were some things lacking. I wanted a wider front display, better cameras (like the Ultra) and fast charging. If it had those things it would be super premium and I would love it but my Fold 4 took FOREVER to charge. Like literally forever. My S22 Ultra charges super fast and it has the 10x optical zoom which I love and it has a nice big display. But I do miss the Fold 4 for watching content as the nice big screen was amazing. Also, I loved the unfolded conformation for navigation (driving around) it just made driving so much better especially if I had split screen with a music app open so I could choose my music or do whatever else I needed to do. Personally I wish that the inside selfie camera wasn't hidden under the display. I'd rather just have a hole punch like on the front of the phone for better quality.

The fold 6 does not have a lighter crease, your fold 5 is a year old so its crease is lighter. When Samsung sent me a fold 4 replacement I was surprised how much better the crease was on the replacement. My fold 4 was 7 months old so the crease god noticeably deeper. Same exact thing happened when the fold 5 released and people thought the crease changed.

If I could ask for one thing, it would be updating the outside display to be able to use the pen...

I have to say this outter screen feels much larger. Dumped my fold 5 because I hated the narrow front screen. Looked at it today at Best Buy and it really felt much better and also lighter.

Ordering the buds 3 pro in white and the Watch ultra in white. The fold is meh to me, front screen is still way too small. They also need to upgrade the cameras, it's crazy to pay 1900 bucks for base S24 camera quality. I will stick to my S24 ultra

I really don't think they needed 6 versions to get the crease that small and the fold that seamless. It's as if they milked the buyers for so many versions. If they were an honest company this would've been the 3rd, or 4th version the latest. Edit: in this rythm, I'll wait for the Fold 8, hopefully by that time the crease will be almost invisible.

Agreed i played with one at the samsung store yesterday, its feels alpt bigger then what the dimensions are on paper. The crease is WAY less although after having 3 folds it never really bothered me. The lighter weight is also noticeable and appreciated. All that said the rear cameras are still worst in class, samsung really needed to address this when folds like the vivo x fold 3 pro exist with its insane (for a fold) camera system. Very, very disappointing especially for the price here in Canada ($3000 for the1tb).

I do use the FOld 6 and even have my ip 15 Pro so not on any Fan wagon, abd like last 2 years FOld is SOlid and nice. But Samsung do to little on the upgrades/year if you ask me. :) They could have done more, even if the small ones is solid. Battery and Camera is two easy spots they could have done some work, SPen int. into the phone would be Dope but that i understand they can skip for now.

Ive had all five of the z phones and I can't do it anymore. I'm tired of that skinny screen and I'm waiting till somebody comes out with a wider cover screen. I'll keep my OnePlus open till something else comes out!!

So I just came out of th stratford store in London Played around with the z fold 6 I currently am using a z fold 4 and I like my saturation High using eye comfort shield I noticed the z fold 6 was dull the colours are not popping Whyy???

I looked into it with my Fold 5. I would still have to pay $600 just for minor changes, so it's a no for me. Black Friday would be a better deal.

Interchange them, lets say the fold 5 is the 6 with the new specs, people will love the new round edges and the bit smaller compact in and outer screen😅😅😅

Outside display made me use the inside display A LOT MORE for basic phone things because the keyboard was tiny and constantly fat fingering text. I have a z fold 3 and I think I'm going with a pixel fold or an one plus open. Sorry Samsung, you're my favorite, but you've had many iterations to improve the phone in the most significantly requested way and you have not.

I just left Best Buy and I'm glad I canceled my per order it's too small on the outside even though the video makes it look bigger.
