I love the implication that in this scene she is speaking Common because Tav isn’t a stranger anymore. It adds some sweet context when she says she and Tav will put Gale on the straight and narrow when they get home.

If you play as Gale she will join your camp for snacks and pets, but if you try to talk to her as any other companion she will only go 'ehm...meow'

All tressym understand common, but usually they cant speak it

The whole kiss is so adorable, everything from the tippy toes to the playful backing away. I am curious to see what it's like if Tav is taller than Gale, but I really apperciate they put in the tippy toes detail for Tavs who are shorter.

​@@Liz-xq2wi My Tav is a fair bit taller than Gale, so they just kinda show your shoes but he crouches down to Gale's height when they kiss, which I think is really cute too!

Astarion is a well-written character I appreciate, but Gale is like a warm blanket I want to be wrapped up in. At least mortal Gale is.

@@ajdean2974 He's definitely not for everyone, but as for me, I like a bit of chaos, and I also feel like Astarion would be able to uniquely understand the trauma I've been through in a way none of the others would. We could help each other get better.

@emmasilver2332 lol I feel like my meaning didn't get across. I adore Astarion in-game.. but IRL my ex was very, very similar. And unfortunately we didn't have hundreds of years and epic side quests to help address his trauma, so it stayed much more... act 1 Astarion. Similarly to your comment though, I feel like Gale's abuse is fairly relatable to my own experiences. And at this point I need someone who will cook for and cuddle me.

Yeah I hated Gale at first thennn he grew on me , unfortunately for him Aster got there first for my neutral - neutral good druid. So I was a friend to Gale instead. I actually had more approval from gale than Astarion because of her better choices lol. I plan on making a sorc or wiz just for Gale when I beat game if I have time. He's def second on list

I think people relate to Gale’s much more stable character, Astarion is in his own way although very loyal he’s quite needy and requires his partner to give him stability rather than then the other way around. Gale has family and is actually quite family oriented if you get this ending which is quite appealing in a way, especially his caring relationship with Tara.

worse when you play Gale origin and everyone seems to be so sweet but you know you want to try to romance Astarion and it breakes your heart when you have to say no to Karlah when she wants a night with you. It was so heartbreaking🥲

Even though I was not on good terms with Astorion and didn't want him in first place...I SOMEHOW romanced him too (but to be fair Astorion is big on ... Don't control Eman, and I am big on ... I don't want to control people, also I have my share of controlling me in real life...soo) it actually happens to me alot in real life too ... But not positively? I either write something that I don't mean so seriously or something 😂 or those people are... like... too quick and it gives me goosebumps because again... stuff 🥶 or I miss the target completely and everyone thinks I am into completely different guy than I really am... fortunately I am having a pause now.... because of healing... in my healing guy would have to come to me and decide if they want me because I am being focused on me, not that I... stuff but... My parents have a great marriage, 40ish years and my mom definitely has ADHD. My dad always tells long winded, highly descriptive stories and my mom has to restrain herself from asking him to get to the point (sometimes she doesn't restrain herself) and my dad is very patient with the 5000 questions my mom asks - especially when the answer is 5 seconds away. The dynamic works better than you would think when there's mutual respect for each other. I'm going to forget that I compared my father to Gale. Goodbye cruel world!

She only appears in person if she stayed in Faerun (or went to Avernus with Karlach if someone's playing one of their origins). If her ending for the save is fighting for Orpheus, she'll appear as a live projection created by githyanki mages. It's still her responding though, it's not an automated projection like the ones Gale can make if he dies or is romanced
