Not my video (obviously) but couldn’t find a good version so I uploaded this one and hope the companies don’t knock over my door with copyright bullshit , it’s not monetized I’m not making any money off this also I’m granny shifting not double clutching like I should
The gallo is referring to the pizza place on the guys cup which was a test to see if he has any automobile knowledge, the correct answer is probably “d16y7” or “Chevy 305 small block”

@@davidk2628 a Papa 32 requires lots of fab work for a skyline fit though. A Domino F30 is way more suited to the chassis. The only tricky part is the muffler bearing need to be replaced often.

Depends if by “Gallo 12 or Gallo 24” he means larger or smaller engine capacity. In such case, a “Gallo 24” would provide extra torque but have the handicap of extra weight. A “Gallo 12” has shorter Bore and Stroke measurements, thus enabling the motor to rev higher and faster. A smaller engine would usually have a smaller block which means frees up space to bolt on aftermarket parts.

He had an Rb25 in it in the movie. Rb26 is god tier performance. Local guys in SA regurarly build 800hp plus on the stock Rb25. America isnt familiar with the motor enough yet to tune RB well. We even had the commodore with an rb.

ThatOneIntrovert so the police guy that wants to join brian on a undercover mission against streetracing, has a drink from a pizza place called Gallo. So when brian wants to test his knowledge about cars he asks "what engine do you think would be better for my r34, gallo 12 or 24" . Yep, as he was asking Dunn which engine it was, which was a Gallo 12 or a Gallo 24. Keep in mind that a Gallo 12 and 24 never even existed because he was referencing the Gallo's Pizza cup as a motor company, even though they aren't and are a pizza company instead. So just by that question alone, he already knew that Dunn wasn't fit for the job and it was pointless in the first place.

Its also funny cause the director wanted Jesse during the reveal of the Supra scene to say " Is that an RB26 when they popped the hood of the Supra I see this line as him poking fun of the director for not knowing anything about cars. . . Even if Brian didn't say this line out of scripted

If you put in a gallo 12, add direct injected root beer plus a twin turbo pepperoni, you could get power output equivalent to a stock naturally marinara'd Gallo 24. Freakin, everyone who knows anything about cars knows this fact COME ON.
