I kind of laugh when people go on about bands changing vocalists and then changing their musical horizons. It is still the same band, but music does this thing you know, where it evolves. And if it didn't we'd all be listening to bards singing songs on Lutes. I do agree the sound has drastically changed, there is the missing element of Frank but I enjoy Wade as well, Completely different directions, but that doesn't give anyone the right to try and take a name from them

Shadzy would you say that suicide silence's new album was "Evolution" even though it musically got softer and went back into the 90s. like things go from left to right, lighter to heavier, so working backwards is counter intuitive to say the least. that doesn't mean they have to turn into black metal levels of heavy but at least add something instead of taking things away. so its really reverting backwards rather then an evolution

I liked Gallows when Frank was the frontman and wondered how they would manage after he had left the band. When they announced Wade as the new vocalist I wasn’t sure until I heard some new music, then I saw them live and I was sold.

I like both incarnations of the Gallows but I still prefer Frank Carter era. My favorite new song is 'Victim Culture but this is second. Outsider Art is Third. My favorite old Gallows tunes top three is Black Eyes, Misery, Belly Of A Shark'

I hear the gallows I know and love in the instruments, but Wade's "light growling" kinda ruins it. Grey britain sounded so british and angry, while Wades song sounds kinda generic and unfitting "laid back" in my opinion. I don't say Wade is a bad frontman or Frank was a god. I just think a british frontman had sounded better with the music.

No, not really. different vocalist. Everything is the same minus that. I don't know how actively Frank the old vocalist was utilized in the song writing and lyrics aspect. Wade seems to have taken them a new direction, but whether the entire band has wanted to move together or not is a different story. I enjoy both actually.

Jesus Christ, Wade has done more for Gallows than you could possibly understand. And by the way, Its Lags, Stu and Lee who are all a part of Gallows. This new stuff fucking rocks and If you don't understand it, well...I feel sorry for you
