A bit of a fun fact Galneryus's lead singer Ono Masatoshi-san is already an established singer back in the '90s probably one of his big hit was the song "You're the only" theme from the 1992 Jdrama entitled "Anything For You" which he re-recorded when he joined Galneryus in 2009. And the band's guitarist Syu-san is also the guitarist for Animetal fronted by Anthem's former lead singer Sakamoto Eizo-san.

If you want to look into the first wave of metal bands in (80s) Japan you should check out : Loudness, Anthem, Vow Wow, X Japan (older albums), and Seikima-II. Those are the most influential. You could also try EZO and Earthshaker who were also around. In the 90s came Sex Machineguns, Dir en Grey, and other groups like Malice Mizer. In the 00s came bands like Mucc, Despairs Ray and Moi dix Moi, who were part of the Visual Kei movement. VK was inspired by bands such X Japan and Buck-Tick, but truly brought to the mainstream by Dir en Grey, Kagerou and Mucc, with a flair from Malice Mizer and Versailles. Japanese bands often shift between rock and metal so there's also influential bands like the Kagerou, Gazette, Maximum the Hormone, Rentrer en Soi, and Sigh, who all contributed to the growth of Japanese metal. The classics never go out of style. It's funny to me that most of the people who would recognize a Tchaikovsky melody are either music students or metal heads.

I really like the song, and the whole album, the full version of the song on the album is even better: If you're interested in a different Japanese metal band I would recommend Ningen Isu and the song Heartless Scat (their newest).

Hey guys. Good reactions and video on the music. I have some constructive feedback on the video that you might find helpful. The audio balance is off between the music video and your voices. I could barely hear you as you talked and had to turn the volume up, either with speakers or a headset. And after I turned the video volume up to hear you guys, the music blasted super loud. Luckily I expected it and turned it down immediately. However, to gain and retain viewers, I would recommend you aim to balance the sound so people do not have to adjust anything. For contrast, I think the audio level of the music video was perfect as it matched most of the other videos I have watched today, so you just need to raise the volume level of your recording device to meet that.
