Developed by Kaneko, the same company involved with the cancelled Socks The Cat game, Gals Panic is one of many in a series of Qix-like puzzle games with pictures. Most of the other Gals Panic games were made as arcade games, and were apparently not made for kids. This version for the Sega Saturn is the first time that the pictures and characters were portrayed as anime-style characters in a game where any age group could play it at home.
