Gambir is not a legend but Dravid was, Gambir is a old school which will result in adding unneeded pressure, Gambir is a good reader of the game but not as Dravid, Gambir is not the only one who understands aggressive cricket because see how India played the t20 word cup and Odi world cup. It is impossible to fill Dravid's shoes but I want him to adapt and get rid of his old school mindset. Good luck Gambir and become good Head coach for India.

This were we are making mistakes. Legend players coach status wont help to win matches..Eg.. Bharath Arun played only 3 International matches. But He grommed our Current bowling attack..And in His period only we took all 20 wickets in SENA countries..Coach needs a Coaching Status..Not Legendary status

@@Keanu_reeves897 Dravid created the best 2023 ODI team after 2011, Dravid helped us win 2024 t20 world cup. The teams that win don't chop and change Ex - CSK and Dravid coached U-19 and Gambir did not. Just because someone is silent doesn't mean they are not courageous. I wish Gambir all the very best to help India but no one can fill Dravid's shoes.

You should not forget the friendship . B/w vk and gg .. when they are coming against they are best enemy's.. when they come together they will be very dangerous for opponents and they will complement each other[ example vk 1st mom is given by gg on vk 1st odi 100 ) ... so the guns will fire together against the opponents

I completely disagree with both these fellows on the point that Coach needs to take a back seat when handling the Indian team. Gambhir should be really stringent on players who dont play to their potential in crunch situations as we could often see Pant getting out by playing ridiculously rash shots when uncalled for in recent matches that too when the team needs him to be in the middle. There is a huge difference between letting the players play with freedom and allowing them to be carefree at the cost of team's position of winning. This is where Gambhir needs to tighten up the screws unlike his predecessors

Gambhir looks like a school headmaster. Won’t work for Indian team. Constantly speaks ill about players. Maybe successful coach, but Doesn’t have the attitude to handle large than life players. Humbleness is key.

Better for Gambhir to make use of W V Raman by including him in his Support Team , may be as a Batting Coach... WVR had good exposure in having coached India Junior Team & India Women Team earlier besides TN Team...
